Sasha Sasic/Croatia still a server on the Magic?

Has anyone had him as their server recently or know if he is still there? I've asked DU to try and get us with him again if possible... wondering if anyone can confirm he's still there.

If he is the Sasha we had on 3/29 - then yes, he is there. Tall, slender, light brown hair and loaded with energy. Never let us have one of anything - an absolutely extraordinary server!! He is married, wife and daughter back home in Croatia. He was absolutely wonderful! I think he said this was his 6th or 7th contract with Disney.

I've requested him for 5/31... sure hope we can get him again! He didn't say anything about leaving soon, did he? When we were there last year, his wife was also a server and the baby was back in Croatia with grandparents. I'm sure they were anxious to get a parent back to her.

He didn't mention leaving in the near future. I think he said something about late summer, but I could be wrong. He is one of the most outstanding servers I have ever had. I won't even start with all the special things he did for us and our grandchildren, the man is just extraordinary in every way. His daughter is 19 mon. old now, he brought us a bunch of pictures of her for us to look at. Anyone having him as a server is very fortunate. He really can make the cruise special in many ways.

His wife was expecting during our April 2001 cruise --- he was our server and Inyoman from Indonesia our asst. server. We never even thought to ask for him in April 2002. Imagine our surprise when he recognized us.....

We were at the lifeboat station (one year after having him as our server) and my daughter seen him and said hi Sasha -- he said hello to my son and daughter and myself and asked where Dad was --- just then my husband came thru the doors with alot of people surrounding him --- and Sasha -- said -- Here comes Dad! he picked him right out of the crowd of people. He then tried to get us changed to his station. But we were traveling with friends and he wasn't able to work a party of 9 in to his area. He still stopped by our table each night (as we were on his rotation) to be sure that we were taken care of. He is terrific!

He's just awesome. He made our trip last year truly magical... and is a big reason we re-booked for this year. Every night was such a treat! I can believe it about the recognizing your family... he is the MOST personable man I think I've ever met!

If anyone thinks they've had a better server... I'd like them to step up
