Saratoga Springs questions?

I hope this hasn't been asked too many times before, but I was unable to access the search function. Does anyone have any info on the new Saratoga Springs resort? I know it isn't open and no one has stayed there yet, but has anyone seen it/have any info on it? I just made reservations for there during the month of Dec. 2004. POFQ was my 1st choice but the person I spoke with (on the 1-407-wdisney number) said they were full at POFQ. :-( I'm just not very interested in any of the other moderate resorts, even POR, but the the fact that this is the newest resort swayed me towards SS rather than AKL. Any info/help/tips/comments are welcome. Thanks!

Saratoga Springs is a DVC resort, not a regular resort. You may want to try the DVC board, I'm sure they can tell you plenty about SSR!

I'm a proud SSR owner! If youre staying in a studio or one bedroom, you will have one bed (queen or king) and a sleeper sofa. The studio has a kitchenette and the onebedroom has a full kitchen. 2 bedrroms are a combo of the two. They rooms are equipped like the BCV or WLV.


The is going to be an awesome pool, with slide, beach incline and "interactive" water area for kids.

There is no sit down resturaunt, but theres more than a food court. You walk up, order, and carry away like a food court, but the food is all made to order and more like sitdown quality.

The website postes above has the best pictures of rooms.

I'd been sent sales info for it last year and it looks awesome. Not interested in buying into DVC, but I would certainly like to stay here sometime.

I'm also a proud owner of SSR. I can't wait to stay in Sept.

It will be a great place to relax and to be able to walk to DTD is a plus for me. Counting down the days...
