Saratoga Springs Or Yacht Club?

I am thinking of going to saratoga springs, is there anyone who has been that can advise me. I normally go to the yacht club and know i like it there. I just fancy a change.

Do you enjoy being able to walk to Epcot and DHS, or are you OK with having to catch a bus to all the parks? I have toured SSR but always stay at the BCV. Although I enjoyed SSR I did think it was really spread out (we toured the units there and spend Christmas day at the spa there) where as the Yacht Club seemed more compact, had better restaurant facilities (inc the BC and the BW), had better access to parks and had a better pool. My choice would be the YC.

Have stayed at Saratoga a few times (as you can see by my sig ) and Beach Club once. The Yacht/Beach Club/Boardwalk area is great for Epcot and MGM, as well as the nightlife around that area, but Saratoga is also great for Downtown Disney access (day and night)

Although its a huge site, there is really no where that isn't a leasurely 10-15 min walk away from Downtown Disney, which feels very safe - day or night. The last time we were there Pleasure Island had just closed a day before, so don't know how it has changed the area, but there are still plenty of places to eat and drink.

Saratoga isn't as near to the parks as Yacht Club, but is only a few minutes drive from Magic Kingdom and Epcot as well as being only a few minutes from Premium Outlets.

Where ever you end up it will be great but remember with Saratoga, you have the option of going for a 1 bed villa which gives you all the advanatges of a full kitchen including washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as the fantastic jacuzzi bath after a long day at the parks.
