After seeing a recent post on who 74A's neighbors were I thought it'd
be nice to see who all are neighbors are in Saratoga Springs Resort...

I am guessing these are out in the Paddock, judging by where others have described their builing locations.

btw aDVCguy, in case you haven't looked it up, 41A is the Springs building closest to Congress Park, 4th floor, when viewing building from parking area, it's the 2 2-br lockouts facing outward at the far right, and the 2-br dedicated across the hallway facing inward to the courtyard.

Unit 1 = 1st Congress Park building opened (bldg closest to boat dock, spa, etc)
Units 2-9 = 2nd CP bldg
Units 10-17 = 3rd CP bldg
Units 18-25 = 4th CP bldg (bldg closest to DTD Marketplace)
Units 26-33 = middle Springs building
Units 34-41 = Springs bldg closest to Congress Park
Units 42-49 = Springs bldg closest to main gate
Units 50-57 = 1st Paddocks bldg opened (the one closest to main gate)
Units 58-65 = 2nd Paddocks bldg
Units 66-73 = 3rd Paddocks bldg
Units 74-81 = 4th Paddocks bldg
Units 82-89 = 5th Paddocks bldg (the one closest to Congress Park)
Units 90-97 = Carousel bldg closest to Paddocks
Units 98-105 = Carousel bldg closest to main gate

Except for Unit 1 bldg, floors tend to be fairly consistent
First 2 unit numbers in bldg are on 1st floor
next 2 unit numbers in bldg are on 2nd floor
next 2 unit numbers in bldg are on 3rd floor
next 2 unit numbers in bldg are on 4th floor
eg Units 2-3 are on first floor, 4-5 are on 2nd floor, 6-7 are on 3rd floor, 8-9 are on 4th floor, etc

My parents are DVC members and we will be taking our second trip to SSR in the next few weeks. On our last trip the resort had just opened and we stayed in the building closest to DTD and really loved the location. We were able to walk to DTD in 10 minutes or less and we were very close to a bus stop. I was assuming that as DVC members we could (or would) be put in any available building but after reading this thread I am wondering if this is the case. I am assuming that my parents didn't purchase a specific room but did they purchase a specific building meaning that we should be in a very similar location each time? If so that would be great.

56A, which is the first paddocks building.

Our contracts list a specific portion of a unit at SSR as what is owned through that contract. Which unit you own has no bearing on where you will be assigned when you stay there.
