Saratoga Springs in May?

We are booked at SSR at the end of May and I am wondering if there is going to be too much contruction and noise to make it enjoyable. I understand only 1 building will be open. What is your opinion and if I choose to switch I was wondering where is everyone's favorite resort. We have stayed at BWV and OKW before and was wanting something different.

Exterior construction for all 4 initial buildings should be complete before May 17th. If you look at recent photos, the scaffolding has already been removed from at least the first building scheduled to open.

There will no-doubt be construction traffic and perhaps some visual evidence of the ongoing development of the resort. But I doubt you will awaken to the sound of pounding hammers at 6am.

We'll be there at the end of May also.

I don't think it'll be bad. Any construction will most likely be inside the other buildings and therefore the noise will be muffled a lot. Also construction will be during daytime when you'll probably be off at the parks or elsewhere. Nights should be just fine.

Think of it this way...No crowds, and the pool practically all to yourself.

Im not worried. Im sure Disney knows how to be practically invisable. We did request a room away from the construction, though.
