Saratoga Springs - Balcony question

I'm a frequent Disney traveler, at least pre-pandemic (last time was March 2020 just before it closed and this is the longest I've been away from a Disney park or property since 1971!)...I'll be resuming my 4-5 trips a year again now that things are getting a step closer to normal again - first trip back is July 2.

I have stayed at Saratoga often - probably 20 times - mostly in Congress Park, a few times in Grandstand and once in Paddock. Often I book last-minute since I live in Florida, so I don't plan my Disney trips 11 months out at my home resort very often...Saratoga ends up being the default resort left open on short notice. Fine by me, especially if I'm doing a solo trip, as the walkability to Disney Springs is great for me. Even the busses don't bother me too much - I'll sometimes head to the bus stop to wait them out, but I have the option of walking over to Disney Springs and catching a resort bus to one of the resorts connected to the park I'm headed to, and walk over from there - such as Beach/Boardwalk to Epcot, or Wilderness Lodge/Contemporary for MK...sometimes that can be faster than waiting for the Saratoga bus, or dealing with the very crowded busses by the time they get to Congress Park station. I also will often use the Disney Springs connection heading home from the parks - walk to a resort, hop on the DS bus, and then walk back to Congress Park. And I'm on a very relaxed pace when traveling solo, starting out as late as noon, staying out until 11pm - midnight, and lots of relax time on the balcony watching the morning activity.

That said...one thing I strongly prefer is a private balcony, since I like to spend a few hours out there with coffee, reading books, and just watching people walk by, and it's not as enjoyable with the open balconies where someone in the next room is standing right next to you with no dividers or privacy. I was hoping some here might know which rooms are the ones that have the fully enclosed balconies with full dividers between the rooms, full roofs overhead - completely boxed in and recessed. By looking at the building photos, they often appear to be on the two 'wings' of the buildings in Congress Park, and right in the center courtyard rooms. Not sure if any of the parking-lot-facing rooms have enclosed balconies as I've never gotten one.

Booking trips again with the mask mandate lifted outdoors, I found that it's surprisingly difficult to get a room, even all the way out to December - I was unable to get my home resort of Boardwalk, or pretty much any other, in 2021...so my next 3 trips (July, September, and December) are all at Saratoga preferred room, with a Congress Park request. If I can figure out which rooms have the enclosed balconies, I will try putting in a request for those too!

I did try them - all of the views seemed to intentionally leave out the actual balcony and just show the views across the lake. I think it seems to be the lowest room numbers (such as Building 1's 1103, 1105, and 1143 and 1145...but what I'm not too sure of is whether Buildings 2 & 3 are the exact same design as buildings 1 and 4 which face the lake more directly...I am pretty sure buildings 1 and 4 have those boxed in balconies at the two ends.

If you look at the 2nd picture of 2747 it seems to show the awning type overhang that I can see in the picture you posted and has the railing that matches the picture. I didn't look at others though. It's hit or miss as they get the pictures from submissions so it depends on what they visitors took them of and posted. (oh - the railing I recalled was from the 2nd floor but I think that's at least one set of rooms that you're looking for)

I missed that one. I found another that I think confirms buildings 2 & 3 have the same layout - there's a photo from room 2301 of Building 3 that shows part of the roof and it appears to be a fully boxed balcony. So it seems that it's the 01-03 rooms and the 45-47 rooms on each building. Many thanks for the assist.

Oh yes, 2301 has good shots of the enclosure.

Really looking forward to 1st time SSR solo visit ...
So, revisiting this topic...

Can anyone offer pix of balcony or suggestions about studios that have a balcony that's a bit more private?
That's more important to me than view...(though a quiet area away from pool/bus would be perfect)
Grandstand is preferred but Paddock would be fine too. (Standard category)

I've checked TP & other "Room Finder" sites but they only offer views from the balcony, not whether balcony is partitioned from neighbors.

Thanks anyone who can help. :flower3:
