Saratoga Springs advice...

Hello all..we are staying at Saratoga for 3 nights after our Disney Magic cruise....can you offer any suggestions as to what area to request that is best for bus transportation, views and close to the main area for dining?

We have stayed there for 1 night a couple of years ago....so I need some advice from the experts....

The Grandstand section is close to the main area, main pool, etc. & it is the first bus stop for pick-up & drop-off. We had a view of the Grandstand pool area & it was very nice or you cold ask for the canal view. Our last visit we had a courtyard view, but it was still a nice area with a view of the golf course. If you want a view of DTD, you would need to stay in Congress Park, but it's a bit of a walk to the main areas. The Springs is also close to the main area, but is the last pick-up/drop-off.

Personally, I love Congress Park. It is right across from DTD (about a 5 - 10 minute walk) and right beside the main pool area and restaurants.

My second choice would be either the Springs or Granstand section. If you think of a triangle, the Springs section sits at the top point. Congress Park sits at the bottom right point, Grandstand sits at the bottom left point, and the main pool/restaurant area sits in between CP and Grandstand sections.

All are pretty close to the main pool/restaurant area, but if you're looking for the closest, request the Springs. Though a little further, I like CP, because DTD is about the same distance as the main area, and you actually have a lot more choices with DTD. However, if you haven't tried Turf Club at SSR, I highly recommend it. It's one of the best places we've eaten at WDW.
