JUst getting on for the evening- and thought it looked like a decent room- well even better than decent- I like a place to get my AM coffee with room to spare and free breakfast, who doesn't like that?

I would NOT miss EMH though. I admit, I'm one of those who lingers around until security has to politely ask you to "make your way to the exit" people. We did EMH every time on our last trip, and never found it to be overly croweded at all, especially the really late ones.

Has Sarah called you yet??

So...do you always get park hoppers and hop over to the EMH park? I have never done EMH before. That sounds fun. he he

I would love to be thrown out of Disney World! Woo Hoo! Get out, lady! lol

I have talked to Sarah...in fact, I am "talking" to her right now! We have talked more since she moved to South Africa than we talked when she was here, by far! She only lived an hour away and we talked regularly, but we chat and skype almost every day.

She is doing very well...really likes it over there and is already using the "forever" word.

William, Lauren and family are doing ok. Their dog is temporarily better, but you can see the mass now...it is big. I am not sure if something shifted so that you can now see it? Or how we could have not noticed it? He is an outside dog and goes exploring a lot...but now he is inside. Not sure what the plan is at this point. but they are talking about getting another dog when Scruffy passes away, which has helped William. He cried and cried when they told him.

My first night in Disney.

What was a girl to do? Well, hopefully you know the answer by now. Because I have been really, really wanting to see Wishes! And Spectro is my favorite! So, off to the Magic Kingdom!!

It was a beautiful evening. Not a cloud in the sky. The sun was just setting and it was awesome. I was so happy to be driving to the Magic Kingdom. All of my "solo traveling" fears were gone. I was just glad to be here!

My first stop in the Magic Kingdom...after gawking at the castle!...was to get some Photopass pics of me in front of the castle! I was allowed to join a Photopass share at the very last minute and planned on taking lots of pics. Especially since I could not take them of myself! In fact, I had my picture taken LOTS of times. Even in the same places over and over, because I wanted to make sure I actually got some GOOD ones! But I digress...

Then I walked over to Buzz (my favorite MK ride!) to grab a fastpass to use after the parade.

It was around 7:00 and the parade started at 8:00. Casey's was crowded. But I was able to grab a hot dog meal eventually and found a place that was not taken yet to sit on the sidewalk, eat, and wait for the parade to start. I had a good time talking to a nice lady and her son. Before I knew it, it was time for the parade to start.

Now, I have to tell you...I picked a poor place to watch the parade. I was near the castle, which was nice...but I was around a corner and could not really see the floats as they were coming. Then they turned around another corner pretty fast, so my viewing time was pretty short. I found myself sitting too "close" to the parade, too. As though I could not see the whole picture...just a sliver of it.

But, my FAVORITE picture...possibly of my whole trip...was this...

I have such fond memories of Chip and Dale ...their interaction with Lauren and her family on my last trip...that I just love them now!


Before the parade was even over, honestly, I was ready to get out of there. I could barely see the floats. I had been sitting on my feet and could barely feel them. So, I said bye to the Mom and son that I met and made my way through the crowd toward Buzz Lightyear.

I asked the CM at the front what the wait looked like (the sign was blank?) and she said it was about 40 minutes. So I figured I would go ahead and use my fastpass.

I just love this ride!!!

I was actually disappointed, though, to see how short the line was! I sure wasted that fastpass. The wait could not have been more than 5 minutes without a fastpass! Shucks!

But I rode it three times in 20 minutes! So I guess I got my "fastpass" worth!

Then it was getting close to time for Wishes! I discovered a little bench area on the Tomorrowland Bridge. I sat there a while just relaxing. I loved this!!! I even tried to take pictures of myself to document for you guys - how relaxed and chilled I was. But those pictures will never see the light of the internet, because they were awful! But I enjoyed just sitting there. I was in my happy place.

Then...it was time.

For what I had been waiting for since October.

Wishes.

I made my way toward The Noodle Station and stood by the short wall there.

And I captured...this...

Tink is so freakin cool!


Now, you are wondering...Uh...What was that?!?!?! Well, it was my poor attempt to capture Tink fly.

The video of Tink is not a gem...but those last few seconds...When I said "Oh, that's sooooo freakin' cool!" Can you hear the joy in my voice? Can you hear the kids around me?

Ignore the accent, people! I am from Mississippi, afterall! But I was so happy!



It was a completely magical evening.

To say I was happy does not really get to the heart of it.

I was smiling ear to ear. I was even smiling with my eyes.

I was smiling on the inside.

When we were there last time, we figured parade time was the best time to catch some more rides without long lines. So, we skipped it. but want to catch it next time for sure. I"ve heard the music is really nice, so I'd go for that. Want to ask around though and get some opinions on a good spot to view it from. I've heard Frontierland is a good place to get a relatively uncrowded spot to watch from. Hmmm, a good thing to research.

Tink IS fun! We saw her too, but wasn't fast enough on the draw with the camera. In fact, NONE of my fireworks pics turned out. I've only ever seen ONE good picture of Tink flying, so don't worry, it's more about the memories in your heart anyway!

I enjoyed a particular spot this last time...but it is usually a crowded spot...you will have to see on my Day 2 pics!

Yeah...I totally did not catch her well...the fun part of that video was my reaction to it all and the reaction of the people around me. I did see a good YouTube video of Tink, though...if you really want to see what she looks like.

I remember her waving, though! Seemed like she was looking right at us! I don't see how she does that at all!! Major acrobatics and I would be sooooooo scared!!

What a great update!!

We had ressies at LTT (back when they had characters... *sigh) anyway, we heard the Spectro music and dh stayed to pay the bill while dd and I ran out - and we had a great spot - only dh had my camera!! BUT I had my camera phone! So I snagged some pics - and even emailed a couple to my Dis friends who've shared phone numbers!!

It was one of our magical unplanned moments!! We've been to Fronteirland for Spectro when it was so packed you couldnt move, let alone see!!

This dern ole computer wouldnt let me view your video - so I'll have to go back - just marking a spot to remind me!!

(and has anyone seen the pic of the ...hmmm... masculine looking TINK IMO You're better off capturing that image!!)

Me either...but I am on a photopass share that won't even be purchased till late March...so we will have to wait on those. But I won't hold up the TR...I had thought about it, but it will be too long.



Now, all I need is a really good cliffhanger!!! But I can't think of one.
