Hello there! My name is Sarah and this is my first Pre-Trip Report!
Before I get started I just have to say that I am a LONG time lurker
on these boards. I need to give you all a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!! You have fed my Disney addiction beautifully over the last couple of years with your tips, stories, and awesome trip reports. I am happy to say it's finally, finally, finally my turn to say: I'm going to Disney World!!!!
When? You may ask..."Why, the most insane week of the year to visit", I will reply! We are leaving the snowy, cold Cleveland weather on December 28 and staying in paradise until January 3.
Who's all going???
Ed - The boyfriend. He really is the best...I know lots of girls say that about their guys but man, I'm the girl who means it! Doesn't quite have the Diseny Bug yet but I am hoping he comes home with it! He is 34 and teaches Jr. High science and reading. He is so brave to work with those scary big kids!

(Sorry about those two giant pictures! I haven't the foggiest on how to make them smaller. By the time I write the actual Trip Report I plan on being a pro!)
That's us...pretty cute if I do say so myself
December 28th -Leaving Cleveland at the crack of dawn (6:25am) - flying nonstop and arriving at 8:50! Checking in to Pop Century (requested a room in the 60's
). Then it's resort hopping, a little Down Town Disney action, ending the day with some surprise dinner reservations for Ed (Boma! and then walking around the AKL at night) Then it's early to bed folks because, did you see what time we flew out?!
December 29th - Animal Kingdom in the morning, Raglan Road for lunch, and Studios for Osborne Lights and Fantasmic (Ed has never seen Fantasmic, a situation that needs to be corrected)
December 30th - By this time I will be dying to get to the Magic Kingdom so that is the plan for the 30th(Fingers crossed that when the time comes I can pull of some stealthy ninja moves and score a BOG lunch reservation with FP+!!!) Wishes at night!
December 31 - Epcot day! Yup, we are going to get up early and get in while we can! We have a Behind the Seeds tour scheduled and early dinner reservations at Garden Grill which I am very excited about. Also, I've never been anywhere this cool for a major holiday. I know the crowds will be insane but I don't even care!!!
January 1 - A slow start to the morning with breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then we are actually just going to play it by ear. I expect us to be dragging a bit today. Maybe some shopping and what not...
January 2 - Ugh, our last day of magic before the magic of winter break comes to an end! We will probably end up at the Magic Kingdom for most of the day, possibly studios depending on crowds. We have dinner reservations for the fabulous Kona Cafe! (I've never been there but from what I hear it is fabulous!)
January 3 - Flying home. We scored another non-stop flight! I can hardly believe it
So that's the plan! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am. I think I have most of the plans ready at a very basic level. So far we have: Brita bottle for water, a light weight "day pack", Disney Apps on all electronic devices, and a mini M&Ms case for some "Press Penny Quarters".
