Thanks everyone! I'm so in love with everything the Roots do! I can't wait to have them take our wedding pics. I do have to go through the book in detail and see if they left off any of our favorite pictures.

Your guest book is great! I agree though, too bad people have to sign it... that's the problem with having such an awesome guest book.

lol, I know! And what if they smear the ink from the pen or something, ooooh that would make me so mad! But then it seems silly to do something else when I'm already getting this....so we'll see.

Welcome! Thanks so much, I love the glass slipper too, it's in our living room now so I see it everyday.

Lol, yeah there were times that I thought I would never get my Disney wedding. But it really does all work out in the end, and now I think DF is just as excited about it, although he had his doubts at first.

I can't wait to get my dress, we're going to order it in December, so still a long ways before I can wear it again. I have to say I thought the fit of Maggie Dresses were the best, esp for me, I have a large bust so it's hard to find things that fit that but don't make my waist look bigger. It couldn't hurt to try a few on to get an idea. But if you do find one you love, you just gotta stop looking!

Hey Girls,

Well this has been a horrible week at work, I was just so busy and tired every night, hardly any time to devote to the disboards , but that's all over now, hopefully!

Our Disney Wedding is in 10 months!

And I do have some other good news...I booked our PS trip!

At first we weren't sure if we were going to do it, but the more I read PS trip reports the more I really wanted to, and DF said yes! He can't take too much time off from work, so we only planned to do 3 nights.

I was so excited when they released the new 4/3 deal, but it wasn't really going to work for us since now you have to buy 4 days of tickets and we'll have AP's. Also, my DF is a resort snob and will only stay at Deluxe resorts, so we definitely needed a deal.

So today I check my email and I got a 40% off pin code from Disney! I was so excited and got to booking our trip right away! I have gotten a lot of these codes in the past, but I could never use them, so it was really exciting to have one I could finally use.

Okay onto the details already! We're going to Disney from Thurs March 25 - Sun March 28 and will be staying at the Yacht Club! I only hope it's warm enough to use Storm Along Bay!

Today is also the deadline for our Pre-RSVP's, but we're still missing about 30% of them. But the way it stands I figure we'll have about 75 people.

I should also be getting my cards and pockets samples soon, but I have made the RSVP and insert card templates, so I'll be sure to post pics when I print that all out.

I am so happy for you that you are going to get one.....when I was debating switching to wishes, I remember thinking I would want to go to the PS (although I wouldn't have be able to go) so I am so glad for you!

Thanks for joining in! Thank you so much, yes, DF really did outdo himself . He is not really one for romantic surprises, so for him to do it that way was really amazing.

The girls really enjoyed the cards. I love my dress too, I can't wait to order it and get it!

Hey everyone,

I got my samples from cards and pockets yesterday and put together my complete invite mock-ups tonight. I was able to print everything without a problem, my only concern is cutting everything to size since my paper cutter is a cheapo portable scrapbooking one and I can barely cut a straight line to save my life! I think I will get the monograms printed up and cut by them and maybe the monogram mats too.

We decided to go with a silver metallic pocketfold with a lavender (smooth) mat and white cardstock for the printed invite.

I definitely wanted to use our monogram on the outside but the pocketfolds don't stay closed, so after looking online I got the idea to use a ribbon to hold it shut. It won't be frayed like that, I couldn't find a decent pair of scissors.

then when you untie the ribbon...

the inserts all stacked up...we have an accommodations card, reception and response for now.

DF really liked the way they turned out too.

Now just have to consider if I want to use a thinner ribbon. I really like the look of the thick ribbon but am worried it will stick up a little too much when the invite is in the envelope. I also tried one as a bellyband but I like the bow better and I think it makes it more dramatic. DF has a postal scale at work so I'll have him weigh them and see if there is a big difference in the postage.

I'm hoping there'll be a cards and pockets sale soon and I can buy the supplies to make the invite. They just had a sale on samples, so hopefully there's something in the works.
