We recently saw a show about Disney during the hoildays and they showed different Santas at the pavilions in EPCOT. COuld someone tell me more about this? Our family may head down for a couple of days next December to see the holiday events and that is one we would really like to see.

The Santa's give the story behind Xmas in the countries. Like Germany, the Santa (forget what his name) tells the story about the first Xmas tree, and France tells the story about Pere Noel.

It's really interesting and you learn about other countries versions of Santa and Xmas. Its something you shouldn't miss, especially if you'll have young children with you.

It's the Holiday's Around the World at EPCOT. Like you saw on the show, all the countries in EPCOT have storytellers who tell about the holiday traditions in that country. Check the schedule for show times. It's very interesting and not all countries have a version of Santa, and certainly few have a Santa like we think of him. For example, this year the Mexican storytellers were the three wise men and they told of the holiday traditions in Mexico. It's really interesting to hear all the stories!

Last week the Santas were almost on at the same time so you definetly need to plan on which Santas you'll see first. It would make sense to start from England and work your way around WS. They were quite interesting and humorous. I'd definetly recommend seeing them all if you get a chance.

Will they be out after Christmas? We will be at Epcot on the 30th and would love to see them.

We spread this out over 2 days. 11 storytellers for dd6 was too much sitting still for 1 day. They were all very interesting. The Monkey KIng from China we listened to twice and I still am not sure what holiday he was from. He was VERY entertaining though!!! If you have kids make sure they sit towards the front as some of the stories have childrens be part of the story. Father Christmas chose dd to be the jingle bell girl after he gave her a gold jingle bell which now hangs on our Disney Christmas tree. It was the perfect way to end our homework as he was the last one we listened to. DD is now up so we gotta open presents!!!!!
