Have you tried uploading them to photobucket and editing them to a smaller size then saving them to your pc.
(long way of doing i know but this is what i usually do
I'm assuming you're on a "traditional" windows computer here, so ignore this if you're not.
If you open the program called Paint, you can open your pictures in that. Somewhere under one of the menus (not sure which one i'm afraid) is a resize option. If you use that to resize the picture, you can then save it again.
I would suggest doing a Save As rather than a save, so you don't lose the (higher quality) original picture
Emma, I don't know how to edit them to a smaller size on photobucket! I wouldn't mind doing that if I could work it out.
Click on the photo and click edit, it comes up with lots of options one being resize, you can then either save the orginal or make a new copy.
