Santa traditionally brings...

A book of Lifesavers, although I can't find the Gummies this year, and the others are too hard for my toddler!

Lifesaver storybook. My mom has been giving them to us for as long as I can remember.

Forgot to mention we also got a brand new pair of pajamas that we got to open on Christmas eve.

Gold coins here. One year I (santa) forgot and boy we're the kids upset. And it seems harder and harder to find them/ But picked them up the other day, so one more thing checked off my list.

My children alwayes got bubble bath in their stocking, but now that they are older it has been replaced by body lotion. They still talk about the yearly bubble bath.

My girls favorite tradition I started when we bought our house with a fireplace, they were 2 and 7 at the time. "Santa" dropped a small gift for each one into the fireplace on his way up the chimney, I didn't think they would find it so quick but the oldest noticed immediately. Its now their favorite part of Christmas morning is seeing what Santa drops. It has been everything from a fancy chocolate sucker to a dvd to larger glitter filled balls. This year they are 16 and 11 and are already wondering what Santa would drop!

I also always get them an advent calendar to count down the days and they still love them!

Cadbury Selection Boxes from Ireland! I'm from Ireland and we always got them at Christmas when we were kids and now my kids get them every Christmas (of course there is always one for me and DH : ) . It's one of my favorite things about Christmas and brings back such fond memories. They also get new pj's to open on Christmas Eve and we always do the countdown chocolate calendars.

What a great tradition!

Santa always brought the Christmas tree and after the 12 days of Christmas, he took the tree down and left a family gift for us 3 kids (usually our big gift for the year). When I have children I will continue the family gift when Santa takes the tree down, but I enjoy Christmas too much to only have the tree up for 2 weeks!

My sisters and I still get jammies on Christmas Eve; I'm 30 and they're 20 and 18!! This year, I talked my mom into getting matching jammies for the whole family from the Disney Store. So my sisters and I will match mom, dad AND my poor unsuspecting husband!!! :rotfl:

We do something similar!:santa: My ds has always put out some carrots on our deck for Santas reindeer (we told him that Santa lands in the backyard)! So, one year we left a gift on the deck (like Santa had dropped it) because we knew that ds would go onto the deck to see if the reindeer had eaten his carrots! He was so excited to find that one left gift that we do it every year now! He is 13 now, but it brings back such cute memories!

Santa brings gold coins, toothbrush, toothpaste, and Hershey kisses every year for the stockings. :santa:

Santa only brings each child 4 presents ( and we don't give presents at all).

They get
Something they want
Something they need
Something to play with
Something to read

!

We do

Thing you want
thing you need
thing you wear
thing you read

Our stocking tradition is toothbrushes (Spinbrush) A few years ago I didn't put them in and the kids all complained!

Hand Sanitizer! Since I started teaching 5 years ago, I have received a big bottle/pump of it for my classroom (and the kids do use it). I keep it right next to the box of tissues.

We also get new pajamas on Christmas Eve and a game which we then play. Last year it was Wii Sports Resort. Don't know what game to get this year. Any suggestions?
