Santa Pictures 2010

I just got my DD9 and DS2's Santa picture in and had to share!! Has anyone else gotten their kiddos pictures done yet? I know it's early in the game, but I needed it to make our cards for this year and the photographer we went with does theirs early.

Those are super cute. I love that they aren't on his lap. My son always freaks having to sit on Santa's lap. We will see how he does this year. I also like how your children are the focus of the picture not Santa.

Thanks! I do like how this picture is different. They took one of them sitting with Santa and it was cute too, but this one won for best shot. She also took pictures of DS sharing a cookie with Santa and looking up at Santa in awe. I didn't get all those though- professional photography is expensive!!

My DS also freaks out about the whole Santa thing. This year though, he actually gave Santa a hug!!! I was so proud, but I didn't buy that picture because Santa's eyes were shut in one pic of it and half shut inthe other (like he was drunk....). I wish they got a good one. He is now great with Santa after this photo shoot. I took him 2 x's to see the mall Santa for practice right before this. I will try to post the pic of him giving Santa a high five later. He wanted this picture himself and pointed to it when we were ordering. I think he was proud of himself.

We will probably go see Santa around the beginning to mid-December. We generally wait till after Thanksgiving to do that. We did just do the kids' professional Christmas pics a couple weekends ago and got those back Saturday but not anything with Santa.

When the kids were little we went to the Mall Santa and got pictures. The BEST Santa is at the Mall of America. He is wonderful. He has his own hair/beard and LOOKS like Santa. They did take pictures but they were copyrighted. We never did a formal sitting for Santa pictures. I don't know anyone that has.

We did the mall Santas every year, except this one. I never would have thought to go to a photographer for this either, but I went to school with the chicka that did the pics for me. She has the best Santa! I really think this guy was the real deal!!! We will do the mall Santas too soon. We do breakfast with Santa at the Mall of GA every year and also the free picture at Bass Pro Shops at Discover Mills. So I will have plenty of Santa pictures to upload soon!

I love Christmas pictures! Anyone have any of those they would like to share?

This is the first time I have ever seen a picture with Santa like that. Really nice. No crying child. It is like they are unaware he is there but he really does exist as he sits in the background watching them get their picture taken in front of the tree. Yes, Santa really does exist Virgina. (I think that is how it went)

My kids are kind of beyond the Santa thing....so no more pictures for us. However, I was in our mall on Sunday to do a little shopping, and there was a BIG sign near the Santa display that said "Personal photography is prohibited in the mall". Is this the norm? You can't take your own pictures of your kids with Santa OR any personal pictures anywhere in the mall??

The Santa pictures are really $$ and pretty crappy in quality.

Thanks a bunch! I know at our mall, you can't take your own pictures of your kids with Santa unless you are purchasing some from them. I know some stores also ban photography due to competition from other stores and such.... Something about how they set up their displays or something. Who knows!

At ours, I cheat the system by taking the kiddos to breakfast with Santa- they let me take pictures there and it's still in the mall.

Great picture! I love her jacket!!! I love going early in the season- we went twice before our official pictures just to get him ready for the event, and we were the only ones there both times. It was great. He "talked" with Santa for a good 10 minutes each time. I say "talked" as DS just turned 2 and doesn't really talk much. Thanks for sharing!!

WOW you guys are early.

we usually wait until Dec to get ours.

Cassie doesn't like santa - well doesn't like anyone with facial hair except her uncle. so it's always interesting getting them done and we've been in some of the pics for the last 4 years LOL

we'll see how she is this year.
