Santa Got Me a DISboarder Weekend to the Mouse!

Those sound like some good ADR's. Kona is delicious! We really loved our meal there. :thumbsup2

Kona was primarily picked as a result of your last TR!!! I have to go back and see what you guys got. I remember that it looked good.

They sound great...and you still have the flexibility to get around and see the parks!!! LOVE it!!!

I hope so. I'm arriving Friday by 9am. So in the morning, I have to figure out how to activate my AP. Then I have to meet up with Stacy who's getting in later and heading to DHS. Saturday is devoted all day to MK and Sunday is a park hop between AK and Epcot. Can we do it????? :confused3

Darn it...I have a nut allergy! I'm just going to have to have an extra Lapu Lapu to get over my disappointment ;)

What do you have? Did you give any thought to my capri suggestion?

Ya, I think capris are going to be the way to go. I can't imagine that jeans are going to be comfy. I have some capri yoga pants- to casual for Disney??? or do I have to stick one my jean capris? (Issue is that I really don't love my jean ones and I only have two pairs...so I'd need to get more...and where does one buy capris in January :confused3 )

I wore black capri/gaucho pants at Disney, not too casual at all. Check Old Navy, I bought a pair of tan capris on there last week. They were a pretty decent price too. I'd bring your jean capris too. I alternated between my jeans and the gaucho ones.

Do you need shirt help too? Shoes??

Well I'm hoping to be able to wear my something out of my rather large collection of Disney T's...topped with a hoodie if need be.

Shoes is another issue. I follow a strict regiment of sneakers during the day and crocs sandals at night. I don't know if it will be warm enough for Croc sandals. So I'm thinking about buying a pair of Caymens (or similar) now and really break them in.

I really need a stylist :rotfl:

So it happened today....

If you've read my previous PTR (or even read the title), you know about my pet peeve involving people saying "you are going to Disney AGAIN?" followed by the equally annoying "don't you get bored of it?"

Today it came from my MOTHER....my mother...the woman who CONCEIVED me during a Disney vacation. Come on mom!!!

I figured I better finally let her know that 1) DH bought me a trip to Disney for Xmas/Bday and 2) we need her to help out with DD. My DH works nights and I need to be at the airport at 4am. That leaves a GIGANTIC overlap and I don't think they've legalized leaving 5 year olds home alone yet. :confused3

SOOO told my mom about the trip and then asked her to watch DD overnight. At first she was okey dokey with the whole thing. Then she realized that a "Disboard Meet" might be AT WDW :rotfl:

So she asked "you aren't going to DISNEY are you?" Followed by...you guessed it "Don't you ever get bored of it?" :scared1:

Seriously does this woman know me at all :confused3

I need a stylist too. I think it helps to just bounce ideas off someone. I think the tees with the hoodie if needed will be fine. What about bring a long sleeve tee as well so you can put the tees over it if it's chilly but not hoodie chilly. Confused yet? And I HIGHLY recommend the Mary Jane Crocs. They are so comfy and cute!

That is really annoying! From your Mom too! :scared1: Wow. There are select people in the "real" world that I talk about my Disney trips with, it's not worth the eye rolling or didn't you already go there? Like Disney is a one time trip. Pffft!

I need to go try on the Mary Jane Crocs. I order all mine from Shoebuy and I'm not sure of the sizing. I'm really doubting that it will be warm enough for sandals.

I think the long sleeved T is a good idea. I enjoy layering. I'm going to need a big suitcase for a 4 day trip aren't I???? :rotfl:

Ya, I'm not even telling my IRL friends about this trip to Disney. They REALLY won't get it...and may disown me! :scared1:

I ordered my regular size in the Mary Janes and they fit well. I'm a huge Shoebuy fan as well. Though I have been patiently waiting for them to get black Mary Jane crocs in my size for over a month now! I wasn't sure if the Mary Janes would be okay without socks so for the first time in the park I wore them with really really thin socks and they weren't too dorky looking with my capri pants. At least I don't regret the decision yet. :rotfl2:

No matter how little you try to pack, it always sneaks up on you and you have way more than you thought you'd need.
