Santa Fe, NM

We're taking a long trip out west this summer, heading to San Diego for the marathon, over to DL and back home. Along the way, we want to spend a night or two in Santa Fe, NM. Anyone have any recommendations about where we should stay? I've been checking out Trip Advisor, but I'm still not sure.

I haven't stayed there but we went there on a day trip a few years ago. Don't have alot of advice but wanted to tell you you'll have a great time there, it's so unique and old fashioned and beautiful. There are vendors that set up on mats on the ground. The resturants are to die for.... excellent sopapeas (sp?).

Hopefully I can help. What are you looking for - nice, cheap, expensive, fancy? Do you need a pool? Close to the plaza? We go up several times a year, and know the area pretty well. Please feel free to PM me.
