MINI-TR IN PICS, PART 1

I can't believe I never wrote about this in here!

So, back around the beginning of October, Jake & I went to visit my friend Cait and her little boy. (They recently moved away) On the way, we made a little one-night stop at DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

Yaaaay! We're in Disney!!

Our resort area! (We stayed at All-Star Sports)

Jake ready to have fun at Magic Kingdom! (BEFORE!)

Our first view of the Castle I love how you can see the balloons in this picture, too!

We stopped at Casey's to grab a bite to eat. Jake made a new friend!

We rode a bunch of rides, but I didn't take pictures. I know, I know. I tried, but with Jake sitting on my lap, I couldn't get any decent shots. Plus, he likes to take the camera himself every time he sees it out.

Walking through Adventureland, I noticed the line for Rafiki was non-existant. I didn't know how Jake would react to the characters, so I thought we'd go give it a try. He got really excited when we were walking up, but as soon as we got close...

Yeah, didn't seem to like him so much. As soon as we waved good-bye and got about 10 ft away, Jake was waving and laughing at him! Of course!

He started getting cranky after that and fell asleep in the stroller. So, perfect time to head back to Sports and take a nap myself! But, not before one last picture!

All Magic Kingdom'ed out! Is that even possible!? (AFTER!)

MINI-TR IN PICS, PART 2

After a much needed nap, it was time to head out again.

Welcome to Epcot!

First ride of the night - Spaceship Earth! I really liked the new version.

Close up of us on the big globe.

It was nearing dinner time, so we stopped at the closest place - Electric Umbrella. I had the chicken sandwich and Mr. Jake had nuggets.

After eating, we walked around World Showcase and just had fun looking at everything. It was raining on & off the rest of the night, so I never really brought out my camera again. Sorry!

We went back to the hotel around 8:00ish and crashed. It was a short little visit, but definately alot of fun!

Already a Disney World Fanatic!

Nice pics Lauren! My daughter did the same thing. She loved the characters from far away, waving and laughing then when you got up close she freaked out

Isn't it so funny? I really thought he was going to actually like them because he got the BIGGEST smile on his face, but nope. I guess we just have to give it another year or so!

here is my little guy with smokey the bear at a campground a few weeks ago, he loved him, hope it transfers when we get down to the characters in disney.

Jake was 12 months old in those pictures.. I have a feeling that if we would've went earlier in the year, he wouldn't have been scared. Anddddd, I'm hoping that when we go next year, he won't be timid anymore.

our little guy watches mickey mouse club house at least 3 times a day, so he loves seeing pics of mickey, he even recognizes him on other pictures and things around the house...

Another Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan! It's on all the time at house, too. "Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!"

i just went through and found all the booze info for the countries in epcot, drinks will run us about 80.00 and that is without finding one for italy, did not see anything on there menu...not to bad, luckily we will have the Sister inlaw with us, to have a few...11 drinks might put us under the table....good to have a 3rd to share them with.
