Alright, time for some updates!

First off, this will now be a GIRLS ONLY TRIP! Yep, that's right... Just Corrina & I taking on the World together. As you know, it started out with her & I, plus the 2 kiddos. Then, plans changed and it was decided that Hailey was going to spend the week with her Grandma. Well, plans have changed yet again and Jake is now going to be spending the week with my parents!

My mom and I went out to dinner last night and we started talking about Disney World. I was telling her everything we had planned so far, what we were super excited about and how we just couldn't wait! I mentioned how Hailey wasn't going to be coming anymore and I could tell my mom was thinking about something.

"Lauren... What if I took off of work and you left Jake with us?"

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

So, we talked about it for a few and I finally decided, "Ya know what? Let's do it." It works out great for Mom, actually. She has vacation days to use and since we're going the week after Thanksgiving, she'll get an extra long holiday! Can't beat that, right?

Corrina still doesn't know since I wasn't able to talk to her last night. This changes the whole trip! I am SO excited to have a trip with just her & I. I will definately miss Jake, but being able to spend time with the best friend and have some time to ourselves will be wonderful!

I had started writing a must-do list, but I think I want to start a new one now...

Well, I'm definately excited that we won't have to always use the single rider line to experience rides like TOT, RnR, Test Track, etc! It'll be fun to be able to sit right next to her when she gets on those for the very first time!

It'll definately be easier to come and go as we please now. If we want to stay out super late, we can. If we want to sleep in one morning, we can!

I was thinking that now we could try out a few of the drinks around the Showcase. It stinks that all those clubs are closed now, that would've been a blast to do!

its great to hear that your excited about your Girls Only vacation with your BFF and I thought if you were still looking for potential ADRs you could check out California Grill for one night that you know what time the fireworks start, I hear that place has a great view! Mmm, California Grill sounds great, but I think it's a little out of our budget for this trip. Thanks so much for the suggestion though! I definately want to try it out one day!

I know! I couldn't believe it! I was like, "You're offering to stay with the kiddo, too?!" I don't think it's going to really sink in that it's only Corrina & I until we're passing under those lovely Disney World signs!

Eat a Dole Whip!
- Mmm <3 I tried one for the first time on my last trip & loved it! Corrina likes pineapples as much as I do, so I'm sure this will be a big hit.

See the Osborne Spectacle of Lights
- I'm so excited for this! One of my favorite things about Christmas time is driving around town and looking at all the decorations & lights on the houses. It's going to be gorgeous!

Triple Mountain Whammy, Baby!
- Space Mountain, Splash Mountain & Big Thunder Mountain. Need I say more?

Tower of Terror & Rock n Roller Coaster
- Bring it on!

Drink around the World
- Hey, we're legal. Without the kiddos. I can't wait to try the Grey Goose Slushies.

See the different Resort Decorations
- I'm really looking forward to the GF Gingerbread House. And doesn't the Beach Club have the really cool carousel?

Watch Wishes & Illuminations
- Is it horrible to say that I've never seen either? Well, that's going to change in a matter of a month!

Ride the Monorail
- By the end of the trip, I'll have Corrina saying the monorail recording... in Spanish!

Walk the Boardwalk
- I've never been over the Boardwalk area. It'll be especially pretty at Christmas time!

you have to take pictures of all the christmas decorations and report about line waits, I wanna go around the christmas time just to see the decorations but my mom thinks it'll be too packed cause in 2004 my sister went with cheerleading for Dec. 26 - Jan. 2 and they said it was to packed to move, but i wanna go the first or second week of lights!!
