Sangria, anyone?

I'm looking for a really, really good recipe. Care to share?

This is a pretty basic, easy recipe for Sangria. I've made this one - it's very good!

Fruity Sangria

1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup orange juice
1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
1/2 cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups carbonated water (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together the brandy, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, red wine, triple sec, and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange and lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda or ginger ale (I prefer the ginger ale) just before serving.

There was a thread a few months ago and there were lots of yummy recipes for Sangria posted. I hope you find it.

I make sangrias all of the time and get lots of compliments

- pour a bottle of wine into a pitcher (I use both merlot and chard depending on what fruit I am using)
- add 1 cup of rum
- add 1/2 cup of OJ if I'm using red wine or cranberry juice if using white
- add 1/2 cup of sugar
- add fruit. I use rasberries, blackberries, strawberries, apples, and a lime for red sangria. I use apples, mangoes, pomegranate, and cherries for white wine.
- let sit overnight
- add a 1liter bottle of seltzer prior to serving.

I use a lot of flavored rums to add a little kick instead of plain old white rum

This is way to funny! I had started that post a few months ago...with the same title!!!

I did make some & it was AWESOME!! For Christmas I'm hoping to get a nice set to make it in (instead of using my cooking pots!!
