So i just recieved a quote from this company. They gave me a price of $75 bucks for pick up at sanford airport to a disney resort. This is a transfer in a town car. Is this a resonable price??

Are you sure that is the quote??? A ride from MCO to a Disney resort, one way, is about $55-60!! It's usually twice as much to get from Sanford to Disney. Most people are being quoted about $180, R/T.

That is the price that the lady emailed me for pickup from sanford airport and transfers to a disney resort. I know what the email read so unless the company is bogus than that is the quote

Why not rent a car? The cost of a car rental would be about $30. Gives you the freedom to do as you please. There are 2 onsite car rental counters on WDW property National at the Dolphin and the Alamo car center.
YOu can also return a car from Dollar at the Regal Sun resort which is across the street from DTD. Or there is an Avis location at the Hilton which is a short walk from DTD.
I have rented an Avis car for one day on nearly every trip I take so that I can go to the grocery store and have the ability to eat off site and save some $$$. The money we save to eat off site is more than the car rental. We usually get the car in the afternoon go some where offsite for lunch and diner then do lunch the next day before returning the car. So we have the chance to eat off property 3 times which saves us a ton of money.
*** don't forget the $75 quoted does not include the tip

That is probably the right quote from that company. They are quoting really low to pick up business. They are a 2 or 3 vehicle company and not getting good reviews for their performance. Because their prices are so low they cannot sub out a ride easily. They in return will put 2 or 3 families in a van to make up for the low prices.

It is not a good marketing theory and will eventually turn around and bite them in the but because of overbooking, passengers waiting around for one of three vehicles to return, unable to sub out rides or just poor service.

Jose is running on a low profit margin.

Just running the numbers in my head, I cannot see how viable this is.

A trip from Sanford International to Disney is about an hour and about 45-50 miles plus there are tolls. From a pure economics perspective, the cost of the mileage (lets use the mileage reimbursement rate 0.55/mile) alone is on average $25.00, never the less staff costs, wait time, tolls, parking etc.
