Are you driving? If so the I4 route doesn't have any tolls to pay, but it can take a lot longer if you hit rush hour traffic. The 407 Greenaway toll road will be quicker at busy periods, but they do sting you for tolls. The car rental companies will give you both directions and advise you as to which is better at that particular time.

I doubt the hotel has a shuttle bus to Sanford, nor do I think the public bus service would be practical, although it probably would be cheap. You could look into using one of the limo hire services, I think that would probably be cheaper than a taxi from the airport and if you don't have the use of a car, many of the limo services will do a " grocery shop stop" for no extra charge on your journey. If you wanted to load up on softdrinks,beers, milk etc this could be an economical benefit.

The Greeneway toll road only costs $4.75 from Sanford to Kissimmee, so you don't really get stung for tolls.

It is quieter than the I-4 and therefore safer for people who are unfamiliar with the US Roads.
