Just asked this in the main board, then realised this is probably a better place (hey , its late, thats my excuse!)

I was just reading the tsa site, and saw the rules about screening the baggage, in that US airports now do one of 3 things:
1) screening as before (you drop off your luggage at the ticket desk and it gets done behind the scenes)
2) After ticket desk, you take your bags to the screening area where they are screened.
3) Before check in, your bags get screened first and then an authorised person delivers your bags at the checkin.

We are going via Sanford in September....and would be grateful if someone could tell us how Sanford works and which method they use

Thanks for any advice

Paul

I think you will find it is the same as before, you check in and they screen it behind the scenes.

Just a reminder not to leave your spent camera films in your suitcases...the modern screening devises can sometimes damage these films.

Always put your films in your hand luggage - it would be horible to have all your holiday piccies wiped out ! :(
