When you stay at a condo or someother place that has a full kitchen do you prepare "big meals" or stay with basic sandwiches etc?? What are some of your favorite meals that you make when you don't eat at a restaurant? Thanks!

We stayed at a vacation home for the first time, and one other time at a hotel with a kitchen. We made things like spaghetti, fries and bugers, potatoes, Kraft Dinner. Things that were our favourites, and were good if there were left overs. We usually ate breakfast and dinner at the house and ate lunch in the park. We bought alot of snacks and drinks and it saved us some money.

Hi Poohbear2--

We stayed at a villa with a full kitchen in early Dec. and ate 3 or 4 dinner meals there. We cooked simple things like quick casseroles, mac and cheese, chicken broccoli alfredo (with Ragu cheese sauce), etc. It was a huge money saver for us. We also found it was nice to come back to the villa after a long day and relax. Some nights we would even come back early to relax and grab a quick bite, then go out again to a late closing park (such as Epcot). We found the break to be rejuvenating. We also planned on a few dinners out, and tried to do a variety--Chef Mickey, Biergarten, and Outback (offsite).

We stayed in a villa once, basically as it seemed a more sensible option with a 15 month old. We didn't cook at all but the microwave came in handy for warming milk!
