Sandals or Sneakers?

I am 65 and have trouble with my legs and feet but I have worn Crocs every time I've been to WDW. They were great. No problem at all and we walked a lot.

I always take Crocs. I never wear tennis shoes. One time I wore my most comfortable pair of Walmart flipflops and they were actually okay, but I still swear by Crocs.

I'm looking at Keens for this trip, along with my Crocs. Anyone have suggestions on what style you like? So far I've looked at the Bali, Newport H2, Venice, Whisper or Venice H2. There's so many, I'm not sure which to go with. I'm probably ordering from Zappos so maybe I'll get several and return the ones I don't want.

I can't do sandals of any type for any significant amount of time. I bring 1 pair of sneakers, 2 pairs of slip-on Crocs boat shoes, and 1 pair of traditional Crocs when I go to WDW. It sounds like a lot, but I rotate them.

Definitely bring a pair of athletic shoes. Disney is a LOT of walking 10-15 miles a day. I'm bringing my trusty pair of asics running shoes, but I'm also getting a pair of Abeo dunes h2o sandals. They're orthopedic and waterproof. I'm gonna break em in over the next month before my trip and hopefully I won't have to switch to my asics during the trip.

I've done only sandals before and only tennis shoes before. Tennis shoes always end up working better for me.

I used to only wear sandals, but even the most comfortable sandals were not very comfortable by the end of the day. So this summer undecided to wear my reebok zigs in the parks and I was entirely pain free all day. And when I say all day I'm talking 8am till about midnight. And I suffer with foot pain on a daily basis. I call them my magic shoes.

I usually take at least 3 pairs of very comfortable, tested shoes. A good athletic pair ( Clarks), comfortable, spongy flip flops, and another open toe type sandal, like Merrell's or Clarks. Only once in ten years, I have gotten a blister.

Personally I bring a comfortable pair of sneakers to wear on the plane ride and then if we go out to dinner at the parks, but for the most part I wear Supercloud flip-flops by Nike (I think that's what they're called?) They're comfy and provide support.

I just finished a week in Chaco Z2's and it went great. Wore NB running shoes one night to dinner, otherwise, Chaco's the whole time.

I switch off between Keens and Nike runners and don't have any problems!
