I LOVE my Crocs Cleos. I have a fairly wide foot and a very high instep and the bands that go across your foot on these sandals is adjustable (you can gently stretch them). I have NEVER had a blister from them and wore them the whole time we were there at spring break 07. They are wonderful!!!
Tevas are comfy. I have the crocs sandals which are comfy also, but I have never walked a distance in them. Do not know if they would be comfortable for a day in the park.
During my Oct 06 trip I lived in either my Reef flip flops or my New Balance tennis shoes (wide widths are available). The Reefs are awesome and feel like you are walking on marshmallows, but don't offer much arch support. I think alternating between those and my tennis shoes helped too!
Hubby and I bought sandals together. Well, after wearing them for a while we were both a little uncomfortable, so we tried on each others and we felt better. How convenient that we wear a similar size.
Seriously, I love them. These are shoes you buy, take as your only pair on 30 day trip to Europe the next day and not worry about it.
11WW.
Only drawback - after wearing them for many years, I have lost my tolerance for foot pain. Lived with it for 20 years and blocked the pain (mostly), pain free and now I try a pair "normal" shoes and whine like a baby.
