I know this is a strange question (perhaps not so strange) but I am looking for a pair of sandals for our upcoming trip - pretty much every store (Filenes, JCPenney, Kohls, Sears) I have checked have great deals on sandals. . .just not anything my style.

Does any know where I can find any good deals on sandals (catalogs or otherwise)???

I got some Tevas at reioutlet.com last year late summer and they were really reasonable....if you like that style.

I went to the Sports Authority. They had buy one get one 1/2 off. DH and I both bought a pair of Columbias. Total price was maybe $50 for both.

They had Tevas, straprunners, slides, and all decent names. I wear a pretty large ladies size shoe, so I went with a size 7 men in the same Columbia as my DH.

Thanks for the suggestions - I will check them out:)

I have found tevas work well- sneakers are too hot -
Try to find discounted tevas online- check all sports stores (sports authority, athletes foot, etc)

Just don't wear socks with those sandals! :teeth:

I wear sandals just about every day of my life, summer and winter. In winter, I wear wool socks with them. My favorite brand is Birkenstock. They're a little pricey but last forever and are the most comfortable sandal to wear at WDW. Just be sure, whatever you purchase, that you break them in prior to your trip. Buying new shoes for any vacation, let alone WDW, is tricky.....best to have well worn shoes to comfort your piggies. Good luck! We'll be there in about 3 1/2 weeks!

I agree with the Birkenstock sandals being the best. In my old age  when I go to WDW I have had a lot of trouble with my piggies. You know, blisters, yucky things like that.

Anyway, I got some sandals at Sams Club-"Betula" (which to my understanding, they are made by Birkenstock). They sold for $39.99 and are great. Then at the end of the season they went down to $20. I have 2 pairs now and my feet are most grateful. They may not be the prettiest, but they are the most comfy.

Just a suggestion not to wear sandals while walking in the parks. You can put on many miles in walking in the humidity. The rubbing it causes when sandals are on bare feet will cause you pain for the rest of your trip.

I always wear sneakers with socks in the parks and use sandals for the pool or an evening out where I will not be walking much.

I made the mistake of wearing sandals in the parks a few years ago and I still have the scars from the blisters I got. It was so hot and the rubbing was so painful, it made me miserable. I never did it again. I dont care how goofy (pun intended, I would fit in at least in WDW) I look, I wear sneakers now no matter the outfit.

Kmart had a pretty good buy 1 at a sale price, get one at half off last week. I am in love with my Cobbie Cuddlers! I got them for 15 about a month and a half ago, and they are just as comfy as my Tevas..

I just bought some Rockports from Onlineshoes.com. The offer just about every manufacturer there is. The service was unbelievable, and the price was absolutely excellent. I did find them a bit cheaper on an other site, I emailed that link to Onlineshoes.com, and they credited my CC with the difference plus 10%. Not only that, but the shipping was free. I ordered them on Saturday morning, at Noon, I got an email from them saying they were upgrading my shipping to Fedex overnight. On Monday morning they arrived at 9:30 am. I would obviously recomend them again.
