I asked on the vegetarian thread, but I didn't get a response.. Hopefully, someone can answer this for me. 
Just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head if the pilaf served at Sanaa was made with a vegetarian stock or if an animal stock/broth is used? Any help is greatly appreciated!
