Sanaa dinner menu at lunch?

We have a lunch reservation in December at Sanaa that can't be switched to a dinner reservation for various reasons. Looking at the lunch and dinner menus, there are some dinner options that look good. Any chance we might be able to order off of the dinner menu for lunch if we request to?

No

Probably not. The kitchen is set up to prepare the dishes on the lunch menu so any ingredients and equipment specific to the dinner choices would not be readily available. I looked at the lunch and dinner menus and there aren't many of the same entrees. You can ask, but be prepared to choose something from the lunch menu.

1) Lunch is Lunch.
2) Dinner is Dinner.
3) If you want a dinner item, change your ressie,
4) I cannot believe changing your meal times is that tough.

Thank you for your response and also for the other responses to my question that was answered already a couple of days ago. It was just a question and not meant to offend and I really don’t see why I deserved the snark but lesson learned. It’s not hard to change my reservation I’m not stupid, we just have other plans that evening. I apologize for asking.

Thank you for your response that was very helpful. Makes total sense. We live in Arkansas and lots of restaurants that we frequent here offer a both the lunch and dinner menus during the lunch hours so I thought I would ask. Thank you again.

You're not the one that should be apologizing.

1) In many cities, and at many eateries, lunch/dinner entrees are interchangeable.
2) DISNEY is a mass-merchandiser, even at restaurants.
3) They change the "kitchen lines" based upon the meal time.
4) Thus, lunch items are frequently stored away and not available.
5) One can always ask, but usually, lunch/dinner entrees are not interchangeable.

I expect that answers my question, just the reverse of the PP's question. I like an offering from lunchtime, and wondered if I could get something from the lunch menu at dinnertime (I think it was a Tandoori sandwich)

No I don't believe so. As @TheRustyScupper stated above, they change out the production lines between meals and everything is put away.

Won't hurt to ask, but I wouldn't base an entire ADR on the hope of getting that particular item...as I'm sure you already know.

Don't apologize. For some reason TheRustyScupper posts in that obnoxious bullet-pointed style all the time. I'm not sure why he/she can't write in regular sentences like anyone else.

RustyScupper is a man. I don't know him, but I would think he posts using bullet points to make his responses clear. No extraneous information, no walls of text, etc.
