Is the Bread Service at Sanaa that everyone raves about considered "for the table" when it comes to the dining plan? Or would it just be one person's appetizer choice?

It is for sure an appetizer and you have to get it if you are going to Sanaa. I also recommend getting all the sauces rather than just choosing. It is cheaper to choose a couple but it is not much more to get all of them. I believe it is worth it.

Have a great time!

I've been eyeing this for our Sept adult only trip. What else is recommended to order?

My hubby and I shared it when we went down last October, but to be honest I could have eaten just the bread service all to myself as a meal.

Agree.
If you get all 9 accompaniments (13.99) not the 3 accompaniments (11.49) it is a large enough for 4-6 people.
We have been there with 6 people and it was a great beginning to the meal !
Enjoy !

Trying to get Sanaa for DWs bday dinner. Not looking good though. If I get it, we'll have to try this!

We share the bread service with all the dips, and then share a potjie. Love, love, love that bread service!

I can totally see it being enough for a meal for all 3 of us. I just know my daughter is going to want to order samosas so I want to make sure we can get both, cause I am not leaving without having some of that bread. :woohoo:I love me some naan!

Unless you've eaten a lot that day I wouldn't consider it enough for a meal for 3 people.
I find many servings large and oversize at Disney but by the time you split the bread service even with 9 dippers it's still only 5 Naan style breads so it's really still not a meal for 3 by any stretch.
We shared it between 5 of us and I did feel very hungry still and wishing we had gotten two for the table (because it's so good) but glad we didn't so I could still eat all of my main tandoori chicken.

we've ordered the full service (9 dips) for the two of us and loved it. I don't think it's enough to constitute a meal for us (no protein, I don't think the carbs would keep me full long on a park day!) but we've split an entree and been stuffed and happy.

I didn't literally think that would be all we would eat. :rotfl:We are planning on getting entrees as well. :) In fact I was thinking about the tandoori chicken as well, was it yummy? Sometimes I find tandoori chicken a bit dry, but it looks like it comes with a sauce so I'm sure that will help.

It is the most amazing. My kids LOVED it, too. Even the pain in the rear eater that is my older son. He still raves about it...

It was amazing. Yes there's a sauce around it. Was beautiful

Loved the bread service! The sauces are arranged - 3 sweet, 3 savory, 3 spicy (mild to hottest), so it's easy for the kids to navigate. We had it for the table. DD10 ordered an adult app, DD7 had kids butter chicken, DH and I each ordered an entree and dessert. Could've done with less after the bread, but I wasn't stuffed by any means either.

There are 5 pieces of naan-type bread, but I could only distinguish 3 flavors.

We had 2 adults and 2 DD ages 16 and 6. We shared knowing the entrées are big at Disney. We ate there Christmas Day 2011 as our Christmas dinner. Had a window seat too. Love, love, Sanaa!

In addition to the bread service, which is of course amazing, we also like the potjie, especially the butter chicken and braised beef. Sanaa is an excellent restaurant! Even better to go during the day and watch the animals throughout the whole meal, so cool.

The bread is amazing. I agree and just get all the sauces...well worth it to try them all.
