O.K., you AKL pros -- can you tell me where this restaurant will be located...is it in a separate building from where the other restaurants are?

We've been to Boma, walked around the main building (saw the bar/lounge, saw where Jiko is) but have no clue where Sanaa will be.

Also, is it going to be a 1 TS or is it signature dining for 2 TS?

Thanks!

As far as i know saana is going to be located at the new DVC villas at ALK and it will be 1 table service credit. :thumbsup2

I have heard the exact same thing.

It will be in the new DVC building Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani.
The current AKL is the Jambo building.

The Kidani building and restaurant are supposed to open May 1st. (Only part of Kidani will be ready May 1, the rest is supposed to open later this year.)

Currently, all theme park buses to AKL are supposed to stop at the new Kidani building first, then go to the existing Jambo building. The DTD bus is supposed to stop at Jambo first and then go to Kidani.

It's only for DVC members, right? :confused3

No, the restaurant will be open to anyone, not just DVC members. And you will be able to walk from the Jambo House to Kidani village (although it may be a bit of a long walk).

It's a half mile walk, apparently, so unless you just feel like going for a very long stroll beside the parking lot, it's probably better to take the bus. ;)

Thanks for posting this info. I have an ADR for Sanaa for my May trip, but wasn't sure how to get over there.

Nope, DVC members were allowed to make ADRs first, but it is now open to everybody. I am not DVC, but am eating there in May. The CM told me it was one TS credit on the DDP, but could not tell me how to get over there.
