Since we are always discussing rides to and from the Port to the airports I thought I'd share this. We found an outstanding car service in San Diego called Always Ride on Time. Not only will they take you to the airport, but if you are planning a Disneyland Visit they also will take you there. The driver kept us informed via text and was right there when we got to the Uber/shuttle pick-up area. When he got us to the airport he even went and got a wheel chair for my wife and brought it to the car since Southwest operates a little differently in SD. Highly recommend them. Hello! This is SUPER HELPFUL as we are looking to rent a car for the day we arrive back to port and we need to get it from the airport! Also, how far in advance did you book this service? How does SW operate differently in SD? We are flying SW in and out for our cruise. THANK YOU for any help or details! Cheers!

I can’t with you. I just can’t. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

How is southwest different? Flying after cruising from sd.

The way they handle wheelchairs is what's different. They are all outside by baggage check as they have a special ADA check in. He went over and brought it to the car and then pushed my wife to the ADA waiting area. Most terminals they are inside so he wouldn't have been able to do that. Everybody else getting out of Ubers or cabs had to walk over. He went the extra mile.

We booked the car about a month in advance.
