Is San Angel open right now? I heard it was going to be going through a overhaul, but cant confirm it on websites?

If so, anyone have an estimated time to reopen? Thank you

I had read that it was going to be closed as well, but found out otherwise. I called this past Tuesday to change an ADR from Nine Dragons to San Angel Inn for July 24. It is open.

We ate there last week and it was the best meal we have had there in a long time. They changed the menu slightly. My DH had a chicken with cream sauce that he thought was delicous.
I had the beef tenderloin tips...was sort of like tacos carbon...very good.

we really liked our meal there. My DH said the bathrooms were all remodeled and fancy...I didn't use the ladies room

yes it is when we tried to make adr from june 9-16th they said no. But when we tweeked them our TA said it was available so we now have adr for june 10th

Yeah, we have ADRs for the first week of August!! LOVE IT! I'm glad they're not going to be closed...I would have been sad!

For the people who have been here and loved it- Did you have lunch or dinner? We were thinking of going for lunch and I'm hoping it will be as good as the dinner. This will be our first visit.

I ate here once years ago and loved it, food was pretty good and the atmosphere is very nice. But looking at their menu now it really doesn't impress me that much. I would of thought they would have more varierty.

We just ate there on the 16th. It was not the best meal we had.
