We are doing the Candlelight Processional package at Lunch. Our choices are: Biergarten with Brian Dennehy or San Angel Inn with Edward James Olmos? We have eaten at the Biergarten and like it but have never experienced San Angel Inn. We have never heard either of the narrarators? Which narrarator is best and which restaurant is best? Thanks.

I have heard both narrators and thought they were both very good but would probably give the edge to Brian Dennehy just slightly. I like his big narrative voice. Edward James Olmos was slightly more emotional but just didn't have that grand presence that went with this huge orchestra and chorus.

For dinner I also prefer Biergarten.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

Just got back from WDW and had San Angel Inn for the first time. I didn't listen to all the bad reviews and decide to form my own opinion. Here's my opinion. YUCK!!!!!

Go for Biergarten with variety and entertainment and top it off with the beautiful Candlelight Processional with Brian Dennehy!!

Have fun.

BTW, just because you have the dinner package, don't assume you won't be standing in line before the show. From where we stood in line last year, I was afraid we wouldn't have seats. Get to the processional line early.

Can't speak to the narrator question as we have only done that once, but I can CERTAINLY recommend Germany over Mexico. Our dining experience at San Angel Inn was the pits: poor service and mediocre, Taco Bell type food.

Biergarten... our meal at San Angel was so bland we wont be back...

We found Mexico ok, but that was a while back. We did the CP package at Biergarten in '07 and loved it :lovestruc. The band even plays Xmas music.

I also had the experience of waiting a long time on a long passholders' line.
