San Angel Inn Dinner Review 6/7/13

Thank you for another great review! We haven't dined at San Angel Inn in quite a few years, but we did enjoy it the last time we were there. Our last few trips we've been concentrating on trying more new (to us) restaurants and I have to admit we've fallen in love with La Hacienda and have dined there our last three trips. I've read some really good reviews (including yours) of SAI recently and the pictures you posted look especially yummy. I think this one definitely needs to go back in the rotation, LOL.

Thanks so much for sharing your family's experiences! :goodvibes

My pleasure!

It's funny, isn't it -- you find your favorites and then find yourselves continually returning to them; it can be hard to stop and make room for new places! I think we're definitely going to have to try La Hacienda next time, though, just to compare....

Nice review! Your appetizer sounds interesting. As a vegetarian and huge fungus eater (:lmao: I love mushrooms), I'm not sure I'd want to try this fungus that grows on corn...it just sounds kind of weird. You must be a more adventurous type than me!

For the person who commented that their dad is vegetarian, they do have a separate vegetarian menu at San Angel Inn, but I recall not being too impressed with what is on there. They should consider a chile relleno without pork for veggie lovers!

Aw, just go for it! You've got to figure that, what with it being Disney and all, it can't be *that* out there!! Really, if you eat mushrooms, you'll be good with this!

Thanks for the encouragement. ;)
