We were wondering if the San Angel in Mexico has a childrens menu for dinner. We ate there about 3 or 4 yrs ago but only had adults in our party. This time we will have our 3 yr old DGD and she is a bit picky. I remember having the Chicken Mole and it was too spicy, but the sausage/cheese appetizer was to die for!!! (Sorry I can't remember the name of it.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Unless your kids will eat spicy food, I would not recommend San Angel. I don't like hot foods at all. I even asked the waiter which entreés had NO heat. He said there were some that were "mild", and I ordered what he recommended. OUCH! This food is too painful for me. I won't be eating in Mexico again.

Ds had the cheese burger here in December and declaired it delicious. He also loved the chips they brought out and ate a lot of those. He sampled our dishes and had plain vanilla ice cream for desert. The place is very kid friendly and we think the food is very good. It's a favorite of ours.

We recently ate their and I was surprised at the number of kids. And it appeared they were all eating:D I think kids would really enjoy the atmosphere. I am sure that the kids meals are probably the same as everywhere else.

It's a great atmosphere, but I think there are other Disney restaurants that give kids better options for dinning. In fact, I really wasn't that impressed with the menu overall at San Angel.

We've have eaten here several times with DD. She enjoys mexican food and eats it at home quite a bit. Last week while at WDW DD (3yo) ordered the quesidillas de pollo. I was impressed with it myself. It was not a bland children's version of an adult meal. It came with an order of spanish rice too. Outside of Mexico at the Cantina de San Angel has some nice mexican counter service food. They have a children's burrito that comes with tortilla chips that DD also enjoys.
