San Angel and toddler

Is it more couples than kids.My ds is very active and sometimes louder than the norm.Im nervous about where is safe to eat..

You'll be fine. The place is loud as it is. Cool atmosphere too.

It is dark though so be aware of that if you toddler may not like dark places. We went with our 2 year old who was never bothered by the dark but we had to leave before ordering cause she was so crabby. She was fine when we got outside.

I totally agree with the previous two posters (i.e., loud and dark), but can I just point out, it's WDW! With the possible exception of Victoria and Alberts, if you are eating anywhere at WDW, you have to expect kids. It wouldn't hurt people to practice a little patience. (Before I get flamed, I will mention that it is also not an excuse to let your kids run wild).

We took our kids to San Angel Inn when they were 4 and 2, no problems at all. They weren't the only children there. They liked "watching" the volcano part of the boat ride.

The only place I wouldn't take them (other than V&A) is the California Grill. There were children there when DH and I ate there, it is certainly fine to bring them, but I know ours wouldn't do well. That meal lasted too long for their liking.

All I would be careful about is 1) it is loud, 2) it is dark, and 3) the tables are EXTREMELY close together. These things may or may not be a concern for you.

With the possible exception of Victoria and Alberts, if you are eating anywhere at WDW, you have to expect kids.

It's a definite for Victoria and Alberts, as children under 10 are not permitted in the restaurant.

I would say the darkness could be a factor- when my ds was that age it would have freaked him out, also the service there has gotten reviews of being pretty slow lately.

We go every trip and between the shops and ride noise won't be an issue unless she is extremely loud and placed next to a quieter table as the tables are quiet close. It is dark in there and my then 4 yr old nephew had a problem with the volcano. We had a hard time convincing him it wasn't real.

My kids always enjoy the chicken enchilada's.

I just took 3 kids under 6 & two of them were fine. One of them was absolutely terrified of the dark & the volcano. She refused to ride the ride afterwards because she was so scared (and she rode Everest! so she was really scared.) They did all like the food, tho.

San Angel is my favorite restaurant at EPCOT. If you do end up going, you must get the ceviche! It is to die for and I usually order 2 of them for my appetizer. If you like seafood, this is great. Crab, shrimp, lobster, onions, cilantro, and lime juice! My chops are watering now just thinking about it.

Crab, shrimp, lobster, onions, cilantro, and lime juice! My chops are watering now just thinking about it.
