Samsung or GE frontloader?

I'm torn; Samsung seems quite and the Sales people say it has a good reputation. I can get a better deal on the GE steam (in fact, about the same price as the base Samsung). opinions?

The salesman at Sears told us GE wants out of the appliance business and their products have slipped. I bought a GE freezer and it wouldn't freeze, the repairman said it was because I had it in our garage and it needed to be inside the house!!! Finally we did get GE to replace it (customer service was great, other than the repairman!). Samsung has the highest ratings on Consumer Reports and JD Powers.
