Sam's Club Pulled $500 Gift Cards?

We just went to Sam's Club to pick up a couple of the $500 gift cards at the $474 price + the extra 5% Discover Card, to be told they were "pulled yesterday; the manager said to; don't know why".

Makes me go "hmmm...."

Anyone know the deal.

Have you looked on line? My local Sam's doesn't have any of them in the store but the last time I looked (a few weeks ago) I was able to get them on line.

I bought them in-store about 2 weeks ago. Haven't been back to my local Sam's since then so can't say if they're still there.

Mine said they were pulled yesterday. Online they are listed as out of stock.

I bought 6 of them in one transaction at my Sams a couple of weeks ago. They were still on display at the gift card center at my store yesterday as I was almost going to pick up another.
