Hi. I read a post about someone getting the best price on a cruise thru Sams Club? But I can not find the thread!! I wanted to ask if they went to Sams,did it online or on the phone??They also mentioned Costco,which is where we booked our last cruise.The last time we booked you did not have to be a member of Costco,has that changed?? Any help would be appreciated THANKS,Joan

I found this out on www.samsclub.com. I called them and they will book a cruise for you. I know that they were having a special on the 9/12/03-9/20/2003 Western. It was the cheepest I could find! They only had cat. 11 or 9 available at the reduced price. I am a Sam's Club member but when I called the first time they never asked for my membership number then the next time they did so I don't knowwhat to tell you about that. I booked with Costco last time and was a member - they would not quote me last week for our last minute 4-26-03 Western without a valid number! Callled Sam's and put a Cat. 11 GTY ($799) on hold for me and DH. Called back three days later to book - had to pay in full because less than 60 days! DCL had already bumped us to CAT 9 and assigned Cabin #(mid -ship) - without even a deposit! I feel we got a great deal. Sam's has been great to work with -talked with same TA each call. Costco was no trouble last when we sailed at Christmas!! Pixie Dust to you!!

Thanks,Kristen and Tooth Fairy for the info! We are members of Sams,so I will try there first! We are not members of Costco(we do not even have one in our area)I booked with them in March 2001 for April 2002 without being a member,but I guess that has changed. Joan
