Sample rental agreement

I am very new to DVC but my DH and I may rent our points out for next year. I was wondering if anyone had a sample rental agreement that they would be willing to share with us. I understand payment details would be worked out between us and the renter, but I am looking for a basic rental agreement format.

Any help will be greatly appreciated (and of course I will post here when/if we decide to rent them out).

PS. I am mostly a lurker, not a poster (I have trouble with my server, I am not always able to log in), but I wanted to thank everyone for all of their ideas and opinions. I have printed some really helpful hints from all of you and added them to my DVC file for future trips. Thank you.

The contract does not have to be anything fancy. A simple statement of what the member will provide (dates, resort, room type, cnacellation policy) and a statement of what the renter will provide (due dates of all payments, agreement to abide by all DVC and resort rules/policies) and any other specifics pertinent to the rental.

I am actually now looking to rent points for a studio and 2 bedroom villa at Old Key west resort. The dates would be sunday october 17- and check out friday october 22, 2004. I will need 160 points to do it. My brother is a time share owner at Beach Club Villias. I would like to pay for all of them at once or if we could do three payments. It is a total of three familys going. As I rented the points I would like them to go into my brothers account. Or whatever is convient for you. This is my first time doing this. As always, everyone here at the Disboards was most helpful.

Now if only we could decide whether or not we were going to use the points next year. We actually have a few vacation options for next year (some include our DVC points, some do not) and we are not exactly sure which one we are going to take (we can only afford one trip next year, as our DVC purchase this year has cut into our vacation budget for next year. One years sacrafice for a lifetime of vacations).
