Sample CHRISTMAS CARD we once mailed from WDW

The thread about decorating your hotel room for Christmas reminded me of the Christmas cards we printed before we left for Disney in Dec 2000 & mailed while we were there.

I thought I would share the card in case anyone wanted to run with the idea before their upcoming trip. I got TONS of compliments. Folks thought I had purchased them AT WDW! LOL

Robinb, thanks for the kind words about my scrapbook pages. I like them, but I REALLY wish I could scrap like the stuff I see in the magazines. My style is still developing, but I think it's getting there. LOL

Actually, Dan. No, 1 or 2 of your pictures are in my Scrapbook (so far). I must confess. You had posted pictures of the Tree of Life; and, well, since yours came out better than mine, well, I,....um......sorta.......um........ downloaded it & had shutterfly print me a copy to use on my ToL page.

Awesome card, incredible scrapbooking!! It all looks very intimidating to me. I'm with Dan regarding boxes and bags, only our pictures don't end up on the DIS.

I was reading one of your pages...dinner at Wright's Farm the night before your trip...cool!!! I plan on organizing a get together with some friends there after we get back from our trip...quite the place, isn't it?

I loved the card idea...and think we could do something like that for our cards..since the most current pictures of our kids are from the world.

Thanks for the compliments. Here's the verse. I didn't write it. A few years ago someone on the old AOL WDW boards wrote it up. I changed it even some more to fit my card & cut it down to what is here.

I have many talents, but creative writing is NOT one of them. LOL

Use it, modify it.... just use it.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE WHAT OTHERS COME UP WITH!!!! Cards too!!!!

A Walt Disney World Christmas Tale

'Twas three weeks before Christmas
At the House of the Mouse,
The Smiths are in Florida
With Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

At the four parks the attractions entice,
We stand in line; the decorations are so nice.
We are dreaming we could be here with you,
Everywhere that we turn there is so much to do.

We ride all the rides and see all the shows,
We eat our way around Epcot and lose sight of our toes...
