Same room, different arrival times?

I will be sharing a room with my sister. We will be arriving at different times.

Can we check in at different times? Or only one person?

I live in Canada and she lives in the States. I am doing all the reservations.

Does she have to make a Disney Account for My Disney Experience? Use the reservation number, fill in her profile with her name, address, credit card, pin? Or does she give credit card number at check in? Do we use only one pin?

For the Magic Bands, being Canadian the Bands are picked up at the Resort.

Is it better to leave my Canadian address so the Magic bands will be waiting for both of us at the resort so who ever arrives first will be able to get into the room? The first person that arrives picks up all the Magic Bands?

Or is there a better way?

I did a trip with my mom and we live on separate coasts (both US though). You can only have the magic bands sent to one address. I had them sent to me and and then I mailed hers to her. Or just have them held at the resort.

I did ALL the planning, reservations, FPs, etc. so my mom didn't have her own account. That made it pretty simple but she can make an account and you both need to link them. Then you would add her to your reservation.

For check in - only one and you can do that way in advance actually. You'll get an email/text when your room is ready. I don't know if it's possible to have two different credit cards attached to one reservation for charging privileges.
