Same or different restaurants

We are usually QS people so we usually hit our faves mostly. Except for our Honeymoon, we booked 7 sit down restaurants all of which were new to us. In future trips, I think we will sprinkle in some of the sit down restaurants that we liked the best.

We do a mix, but do not eat at many TS. The price just isn’t worth it to me. We usually only eat one breakfast - Breakfast with Mickey since my kids still love it. We usually eat breakfast in the room, QS for lunch and some dinners, and a couple TS for dinner.

Our evening meal is usually a TS, frequently a signature. Over a week, we generally have 4-5 recurring restaurants and 2-3 new restaurants. Noon is a QS and breakfast is in our room.

I always try and get to a couple of new places but there are some that I repeat visit like the Plaza, Steakhouse 71, Ale & Compass, Space 220 and California Grill.

I have a list of favorites I'll rotate through - I am at Disney about 4 trips a year, for 4-5 days each, so I don't always want the same favorites each stay - If I've got 6-8 restaurants I like enough to revisit, I might do 2 one stay, 2 different ones another, and so on. Also depends on availability - if I can't get one of the restaurants I want during that stay. Then at least 1-2 nights, I like to try a new spot, or revisit one I haven't been to in a while if they had a recent menu or chef change.

I'll be heading up this Wednesday - my first night I've got reservations at Toledo which I've never tried, then a Biergarden (semi-regular) with some friends, then some favorites booked - Jiko and Steakhouse 71 for the next two. The last night I didn't book anything - so I'll probably just hit Disney Springs and see what's available.

I try to go to 1 or 2 favourites and then do new places for the rest. I’m torn this coming trip though.
The fiance has only been there once before and didn’t eat on property so there are a lot of places I want to introduce him to but there are a ton that I still want to try.
He loves German food and wants to see the show so we are definitely doing Biergarten as an old favorite. For the day of my birthday I want a date night place so for the first time we are doing Narcoosee’s.

I’m considering Hoop Dee Doo Revue for the entertainment (new) and Crystal Palace (Old Favorite) for the characters/early breakfast. Other than that I think we are just going to see what we feel when we’re out and about.

We hadn’t been to Hoop Dee Doo in like 20 years. We went last year and loved it! For days we were saying why did we wait so long to go again. It’s corny great fun and for the price food, drinks and a show! It’s just such good old fashioned fun. Food isn’t gourmet but they give you a lot!
