Same Day FOP FP Experiences

Just two. Definitely easier to get fastpasses for two.

Yep. I'm definitely seeing a trend here. But maybe that means it's worth it to split up my group.

On our December trip, both of our AK days we were able to get FOP same day twice for 3 people. Having practiced a bit with 7 for a trip we have coming later this year with family, splitting to 3 and 4 seemed to help with hard to get FP's. I would probably try for a bit with 5 but then split to 3 & 2.

I would think it would be near impossible to get them at the same time, though. That could mess up trying to keep the group together with other fastpasses. FOP might be worth that, though.

When trying for the group of 7 I've been able to overlap many hard to get FP's though I can't recall if I did on FOP or not. It just needs to overlap somewhere even if it's in the grace period.

FOP comes up so infrequently that it would be really hard to do that. But it’s worth trying.

I got it for a party of 2 as our 5th fastpass. Probably around 7:30 PM. It can be done!

Here now and we didn’t have any luck with our party of four.

I refreshed a whole lot (hundreds of times and at all different times of day) throughout our two planned AK days ... Na’vi River Journey showed up a couple of times, but I never saw FOP.

Overall, had great success with just about every other ride & show at AK. Refresh enough and they all showed up eventually. EE, Safari, ROL (both shows), etc. But no FOP.

Yeah. I tried two different days hundreds of times in February for a party of two and no luck.

Today it came on refresh number two. A lot of persistence and a lot more luck required, I think.

I will often habitually refresh the list of avaialable fastpasses a zillion times while only half paying attention to it while in line for other attractions, waiting for my group to finish eating, walking to the next thing (paying way more attention to the walking, promise I’m not one of those ppl that just stop in the middle of everyone’s way because they aren’t paying attention). I’ve gotten FoP FPs same day a few times this way but it’s usually just me & my husband, I’d worry about trying to find 5 together.
