Same day adr question

I was wondering if someone can tell me how close you can book a same day adr. Say it is 2 pm can you book at 3 pm if it available or is there some sort of window (one two or three hours) required from the time you book? My husband wants one of our dinners to be decided on the go. I have never done that before so just curious?

I don't think there are any restrictions in place. I've looked a few times recently on the app just out of curiosity, and times within 15 or 20 minutes always come up. It seems like for a while they had a 2-hr advance window, but that doesn't appear to be the case now.
