aw Sam well at least you know that you can have it taken out it you want it- but it is a LOT of money to do this. I think you should totally go with what dress you want - your grandma would WANT you to have any dress that made you happy and im sure she would NOT want you to spend that amount of money altering it- i bet she would rather you get a new dress and spend the money to get from selling it on yourself in a differnet way or another.

Unless you have the money to get the new dress and have the money to get the other dress taken out- (to wear both of them- a 2 dress disney bride!) then i would just remember your grandma would want you to be happy, so getting the new dress seems to be the way.

If you sold the dress, instead of getting the new dress with the money- spend the money on yourself, like, you could get a special piece of jewellery that you can wear to the wedding - plus you can wear it again and again after- that way, its still special because its from your grandma - like instead of the dress, it would be a special ring or necklace or earings- something from her? I dunno, whatever you do hun, just remember your grandma would want you to be happy!

Aww thanks Stacey, that means a lot I think the new dress will work, and will not make me sad. I am going to wear some of my grandmothers jewlery on the day of the wedding for sure. She gave me a diamond tennis bracelet when I graduated from college so I will be wearing that for sure. It has so much meaning because it was a gift to her from my grandpa. She brought it here from Cuba and it is so pretty and delicate. I am going to wear that for sure

Hey!! lol so do I I love dumbo it was my fav when I was a kid!!!! It looks soo comfy so is mine believe it or not! Yes I'm sooooooo excited it's crazy!!! Time went by soooo fast!! You don't have that long though! I know can you believe that?? I would of asked for the manger even if my kids were tired they can sleep on the bus!! It's like omg how can you let that happen and not do anything and then come on her and complain I canceled our ressie there was no way I would go there again! I showed DF and he freaked and said you have to cancel that ressie I'm not eating there!! So I called tonight and canceled and told them why and she acted like it was nothing and I booked Tokyo dining it supposed to be good so I'm looking forward to hopefully there's no bugs just sushi

Wow that Chefs story was crazy. I have to leave for work now, but I did need to say one thing. I can believe that their meal wasn't comped. Why? They paid with the meal plan so there was no way for their meal to be comped. The meal plan makes for a sticky situation when it comes to guest recovery. Managers are pretty much limited to a discount on your drinks, if they even ordered any. I need to read the rest of that thread though.
As for calling up to cancel, it sucks, but, the CM was probably in Tampa, they have no connection to the restaurant and a story heard on the internet is not necessarily something that they are going to take seriously.

Anywho, that's my little early morning view lol.

Im not sure if they still have them, but I bought a hot pink "If I saw an elephant fly" sweatshirt, all paint looking in Kohls in December!! ITs awesome, I will post pics when I remember(IF i remember)lol

I'm glad that you have been able to work things out with the dress and that you feel comfortable and satisfied with your decision, which is the most important thing. I also had the memory charms (like you mentioned having) of my 3 grandparents that had passed away on my bouquet. We also had empty seats in the front row where I had flowers placed in their memory. Then I was able to wear my grandma's wedding ring on one of my other fingers which also meant a lot. Even without the dress there are still a lot of great ways that you can incorporate your grandma's memory.

I know I forgot to update last night. Me and DF had to make copies from ALL his medical records from since he was 8 to recent hes 25!!! It took FOREVER he has an appointment with his dr on friday to find out if he gets on the list for the transplant keep your fingers crossed!! I couldn't finish the programs last night I'll update tonight for sure!! I'm soo happy you got the flowy dress!! It looks great! Can't wait for this weekend its my shower!! I'll be looking out for new updates!! (< me at work )
