Samantha & Dave's PJ... 2/8/10 WP/ADH, PS TR Started Pg 78!

Wow, that's so brilliant EVERY country! The photos are beautiful I bet you'll have a hard time picking which ones are going to be hug around the house.
And you're make up is so lovely, you look gorgeous Sam. I bet Dave couldn't take his eyes off you :lovestruc

Aww thanks Scarlett! It was hard to pick, we kept talking about it with each other so we were pretty relieved when Dean said we would do them all!
I was actually surprised Dave liked the makeup to be honest. He loves when I wear no makeup (bless his heart:love:) but in the real world that is just not an option with me lol! I am a makeup junkie:lmao:

Sam your pictures came out great and you look so freakin cute in all of them! I loveeee your make-up too! Ah, I hate coming home from a Disney trip, it's so depressing! Can't wait to hear more!

Thanks Heather, I am very happy with them for sure! And, Yup DD can be tough! DF just called me and said he wants to look at our pictures again tonight, sio I guess he has it too:rotfl2:

Sam your make-up came out awesome! Thats the general idea that i was to use too!

The pictures are so pretty and you guys make such a cute couple.

Thanks! Ana did a great job, she used all MAC stuff, and instead of blush she used a cream stick thing in a reallllly light pink. I had never used it before... I'll try and think of the name

omg omg omg -- your pics are absolutely GORGEOUS!! love the make-up, and you and Dave are such a CUTE CUTE couple!!!

Thanks Vee! I still laugh about our height diff in the pics though:lmao:... I am such a shortie when I stand next to him:rotfl:

Day 2 Part 2 – Can we save the World before lunch?

So when we last left off our E-pics were complete and we were now free to enjoy the park! I made Dave put on the “Just Engaged” buttons and our mouse ears… oh wait no I didn’t. Why you ask? Well on the plane ride I remembered that I left the Mickey and Minnie bride and groom ears at home!!! Oh the Horror!!! Dave offered to buy me a new one since I was upset, but I said no I would act like a grown up (and just wear them next time lol). Honestly though, of all the things I could forget you would think I would’ve had the foresight to put those in the “Must pack” pile, but Noooo I didn’t even put them in any pile, I just plumb forgot!

Ok, back to the TR, since WS wasn’t officially open yet, we decided to head to future world and get a few rides in. So we head to The Land pavilion and check out Soarin’s wait. At 9:45 it was only 30 mins, but us being impatient we decided to fast pass it and come back later. Our fast pass time was for something obscure like 11:56 so we decided to hit it up later. Now since we were there we had to ride Living with the Land (I love seeing the Mickey shaped Veggies in the Greenhouse). 5 minute wait posted, but I am pretty sure we just walked right on. Random thing I saw on the ride this time was an inordinate amount of pineapples growing… maybe it was pineapple season I don’t know, but seriously the pineapples were everywhere! So after the Land we were strolling through a now sorta, almost, getting crowded Future World and went in somewhere we have never really ventured into before… Innoventions. This is one of those places where I am not sure why we have never been inside before but I though I may learn something. Now I am sorry if this offends any Innoventions fans but… huh??? What is up with this place, there were a few cute games about learning and Dave and I played with a button that makes a door over your head slam shut but that was it. I could slam a door at home and be equally as amused as I was until this point. But… then I saw it… by the exit… Team Possible needed recruits to Save the World! Now since I am “Super Sam” and have super powers like being able to convince my DF to come with me to WDW on a moments notice, and making a pretty darn tasty Key lime Pie, I figured this would be a cinch! So we join Team Possible and are assigned a fastpass ticket type thing to report at our designated time to Norway for our assignment.

Dave and I were still a bit early for our mission so we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and friends and rode our clamshell after another 5 minuet wait. So at this point we were debating “do we go visit Turtle Talk with Crush now, or do we wait a while?” Well a lady came out and said “next show starting now, come on in folks” so we listened to her. Now I have seen TTwC a few times and I think it is hysterical, but nothing and I do mean NOTHING could have prepared us for this TTwC experience. We are seated and are listening to the jokes and laughing right along until this happens…

Crush: “Squirt and I found something the other day that a human must have lost, can you help me and tell me what it is?”

Audience: “Yes!”

Crush: gets item from off screen and comes back with a woman’s bikini top hanging from around his neck

Audience: “hahahahahaha”

Crush: “So what is this thing? Little Dude in the Black Shell can you help me”

Little Boy (about age 8): “It’s a Bra!”

Crush: “A what? What’s it for?

Now at this point I should mention that a little kid had just asked a question about crush’s shell so the answer the audiance was expecting from this little boy was something like “You wear it when you swimming”… but…

Little Boy: “To cover your ****s”

Audience: hahahahaha :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

This was the funniest thing I had ever heard! The lady who runs Turtle Talk (has the mic and gives safety rules and such) was literally crying from laughing so hard! I was crying, Dave was crying, everyone was crying from laughing so hard. And Crush’s face was just priceless, he had his jaw wide open for about a minute not saying a word! Then he said

Crush: “Ok everyone, let’s all forget this happened…”

So after we composed ourselves Crush finished his show and we were headed off to save the world. Since it was 11 and WS was open I figured we could get a Grand Marnier Slush in France on the way to save the world (a girls gotta multi-task right?) so we get to France with eager eyes and livers only to find that in France they don’t serve alcohol until noon! A little bummed we walk over to Morocco and see a beer and sangria stand open… hey it wasn’t my slush but it would do! So we ordered a couple of drinks were on our way to save the world!

Dave and I headed to Norway to pick up our Kimmunicator which is a way to talk to Kim and Dale in the lab. It is a cell phone that is very interactive. They would give you clues and places to go to stop the silly crimes that were taking place all over the world. Our mission was in Germany so we headed over and played along. I don’t want to give too much of this away because it was a fun little diversion but I will tell you that your Kimmunicator interacts with different things and places in WS while on your mission. It was a lot of fun! The missions are supposed to take 15-30 minutes each, this one took closer to 15 so we figured we would do a 2nd mission. But 1st we had to head into the wine room in Germany for a glass of Liebfraumilch wine for me and a pinot noir for Dave. Well since we had on button we also got 2 glasses of white wine to try! Gotta love the buttons! We then had our wine and our Kimmunicator and were off to the UK for our next mission (you do get to pick where you want to go for any subsequent missions). I figured since the UK was right next to Canada and we were having lunch at Le Celier that afternoon the UK would be a good bet!

Here is our little wine picnic and our kimmunicator in Germany

Me and my wine and Kimmunicator... yup I posed:thumbsup2

P1000510.jpg

Well guess what, we saved the world again! Yup that’s right twice in one day Super Sam and Daredevil Dave saved the world! And all before lunch too! So with our missions accomplished and a bit of a buzz going on from my wine and empty stomach combo it was time for lunch.

Now I know the buzz on the Dis about Le Celier so I was very excited to try it, especially that soup. This was also our frist real experience using our dining plan at a TS restaurant. I ordered the Soup, the Filet and Smores for dessert. Dave ordered the Soup, a Burger and a fruit cup for dessert. I also got a mango smoothie to drink, while DF got a Lemonade. I will say the food did not disappoint! The soup was just a fab as everyone says… it was so fabulous in fact that last night my dear sweet wonderful DF made it for us for dinner! I felt like I was right back in Canada! Our entrees were also very good, however they should put a warning on that soup that one bowl and you will full for the rest of the day! I only ate ½ my steak and DF only ½ his burger! Very unlike us! And our dessert came out with a candle and congratulations written on it since we had our buttons on, how cute!

Last night we were smart though and had our soup with a small salad and we were fine, so I recommend eithier being very very very very hungry or maybe eating soup and entrée at the same time. Eithier way it was good, but way too heavy a meal for lunch when you had to sit in the FL sun afterwards… I would do dinner over lunch next time.

So I will leave you there for now, next post will have more pics I promise… up next a surprise for DF!

I swear I had posted on here, but then noticed it was another figment fan's name that I kept seeing :rotfl: I think I posted on your engagement picture thread.

Isn't it cool being in the World Showcase before it opens? You got some great shots around the world; looking forward to seeing the ones from Disney too. I keep trying to think of excuses to get in that area again... the only one I can come up with is the Segway tour.

Speaking of Segways, which side did you hit up in Innoventions? Did you know you can try out the Segways on one side. Also, I know they were redoing a lot of the areas when we were there, so some of it might still be closed while they make the new exhibits. Plus, if you have a Disney Visa there's an area for free character pictures. They take pictures and then you get a 5x7 at the front of the park :thumbsup2

Love the shots on your mission to save the world. DH and I started a mission, but had a lunch reservation at LS and had to cut it short, but we still enjoyed it while it lasted.

So, did it take very long to make the soup at home? I think I have the recipe in my one cookbook, but haven't tried it out yet.

haha I know there are a few fan of figment on the baords lol! I think the segway tour is next on the list...

We only made it to the side with lots of rehabs in Innoventions sadly, I am not sure why though... I think after one side didn't really catch our fancy we moved along, but I forgot about the segway trial! Now I wish we would've gone in! Oh well, now I have something to do next time:goodvibes.

Saving the World was fun, and I guess pretty popular too because we saw tons of people doing it all over WS. Kids and Adults which was good to see:goodvibes

The soup was from our Disney cookbook and it took about an hour (maybe a bit longer) but DF said it was easy to make. It tasted just like LC's too! He said to use a mild white chedder to make it not a sharp one though. I actually tried the soup base without the cheese (you don't add the cheeses till the very end) and even that tasted really good. No pretzal bread to go along with it but we used a little italian loaf from the supermarket and it was great:thumbsup2

MMMM beer cheese soup. YUMMY!! Sounds like you had fun!

I am still full lol! it was fun, I just wish I was eating it in WDW not my living room but oh well!:lmao:

I want to do thekim possible game~!!! I never even knew that they had this!!!!!!!!!

I sooo want to do the Kim Possible thing! My roommate has done all of them, some twice! I haven't gotten a chance yet. My parents and I saw a bunch of people playing in Mexico yesterday, but we didn't have time to do it :sad2:

Also I want Jeff to make me cheddar cheese soup again! Oh sooo yummy, last time he made a ton of it and ended up throwing a lot away because he left it out

haha, guess what I'm having for leftovers in a few mins...
Kim was fun, it was a little strange to see kids being realllly excited to be in the WS though, usualy you see a few who are into it (you know the kids that will grow up to be Disers lol) and then all the rest just kind of tag along, but this game had sooo many kids getting into the WS:thumbsup2

Ohh.. I loved the kim possible thing. We did the one in Japan. It was a fun way to waste some time.

About segways - and I will add the disclaimer that I am 'special' and even my dr. has said "really? Only you could do that..." and I'm not saying you are 'special' like me - But I will warn you that if you are not 'balanced' in general (I am not - once I broke a window by falling from standing still - I just lost my balance and fell into a cabinet that fell into a window - see - 'special') they can be dangerous. I did one in St. Maarten a few years ago, and ended up in tears with a broken foot
:rolleyes1 So I'm just saying....wait until after the wedding :rotfl:

Love your pictures!

haha your too funny! While I am a dance teacher, outside of the studio I would describe my coordination leve as sub-par at best... DF's as well to be honest... so I will head that warning and wait until after the wedding lol:rotfl2:

Ah, Sam! I got so far behind on your TR! But I'm all caught up now. It looks like you had a blast. I love the Kim Possible thing, and I'm so glad I'm not the only grown person who does. Ryan and I were afraid to try it for fear of looking stupid. But it was fun, very cute!

You two are so adorable together, your e-pics are cute. Can't wait to read more, and I can't let myself get this far behind again!

Oh by the way. I remember not too long ago I posted my 1,000th post and you had around 200 and made some comment about you being there one day. Well girl, you have far surpassed me! You're a maniac on here! :worship:

Hey Sam, I love the update!! I so want to try the Kim Possible game now, it's sound just childish enough for me to enjoy it :lmao:

I'm also super glad to hear that you thought Le Cellier lived up to it's hype, it's on our definite must try list for our trip.

What did you think about the dining plan overall?

OMG I am the same exact way. I used to work for an airline and the cops would always come around on their segways and of course I thought that it was the coolest thing.... until i tried it. I was headed face first into one of the luggage belts and the cop had to grab me before I fell. I told him that I wasn't ready yet ... :rotfl2: Till this day I still don't think I'm ready! That is definitely a post wedding activity

That kid was tooo funny:rotfl: I guess kids do say the darndest things! His parents are gonna have their hands full!

Sounds like you had a great time saving the world! I will definitely have to do that with DF but we will wait till noon because I gotta have the Grand Marnier Slush! I wonder why they wait until noon anyways... I mean some people do start drinking before lunch..... :rotfl2:

First off, WELCOME BACK!!!

Wow, your makeup turned out great!!! Your e-pics turned out so nice, and I think you convinced me to try that Kimmunicator mission thingy. :rotfl:
Looking forward to more! popcorn::

Thanks Stacey, Kim Possible was a lot fo fun to do. There was one part (I won't give it away) where you had to say something to one of the shop workers and they said alot of adults do it now. It's a lot of fun, and the phone they give you is pretty neat:thumbsup2

haha, I am sort of addicted to the Dis now lol!

What did you think about the dining plan overall?

Yes, Kim Possible was a good time for sure, its a great diversion in the WS for a little fun and excitment... and how cool is it to save the world. I believe our mission in Germany was saving the world from a German villan trying to control the world with his super secret mind controlling pretzels:rotfl2:... I kid you not... I saved the world from a snack food villan lol!!:rotfl:

I did love Le celier, I would suggest it as a dinner as opposed to a lunch though since it is soooo much food (and very heavy food, you practically had to roll me outta there lol)

The DP was worth it, I spent $370 on the DP for 5 nights and we spent $490 on DP food. So we came out $120 ahead. We did buy a few drinks OOP and $20 on an extra cheese soup for Le Celier and an app at Spoodles... but even with that I think we still came out ahead:thumbsup2

I was dying laughing when he said that, but he did know his stuff :lmao:lol!

It was so strange because Morocco was open for business and France was not having any of it until noon! But the slush was heavenly once I finally got it later in the trip:goodvibes

Thanks so much! It was a lot of fun and I recommend it with 2 thimbs up:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

A break from the TR to give you ladies a few wedding updates (I know I still am doing that lol)

Last night DF and I were talking about our trip (and wishing we were at WDW again lol) and we got to thinking about our honeymoon in WDW. When we went to the POLY for dinner at Ohana Dave really liked it... I mean he reallllllly liked it. I have always wanted to stay there with him, but thought it wasn't his style... well I learned last night how very wrong I was. Who was this man talking to me about how he really would rather stay at the POLY for the honeymoon part of our trip instead of the WL?? Now I am fine staying anywhere for the honeymoon (as long as it's disney I am a happy camper) so we talked it all out and decided...

2/3 - 2/10 at the Yacht Club and then
2/10 - 2/15 at the POLY!!!

DF decided we couldn't possible leave WDW on Valentines day so he said we could stay until the 15th and have a special Valentines Day dinner somewhere:love:... I knew I loved him for a reason lol!

So we also got to thinking where could we go and have a special night... any suggestions, romantic restaurants or activites we could do??:confused3

Also, I am trying to book our disneymoon soon becuase I found plane tickets for pretty inexpensive and really want to lock it all in:goodvibes

I bet you was thinking ''wheres Stacey- i have updated my tr and she hasnt seen or commented on it yet!!??''

well im up Waynes house but dont worry- i made certain i take my laptop so today i can log in and check if you had updated (i would have been :confused: if you didnt update! hehe)

So yaaaaay im happy you have updated and it was good update! I think i will have to do that challenge thing next time because we never got to go to epcot at all this time- plus i wanted one of those slushes after your reccomendation!!

Thats so cute you are staying there for valentines day- why dont you check out that giftsofalifetime.com to see what they can come up with for a surprise - and you have to fill in a form to give them ideas of what they can do for you- you must mention that its your honeymoon and valentines day- or you could have one of those horse carraige rides!!

cant wait to hear and see more tr!! Proper loving it so far!!!

:cool1:

OOOh I can't wait to try the Kim Possible game lol!! Sounds fun.
