I think that is a great idea Mindy, your idea totally appeals to the indecisive Libra in me. I have no been in touch with a Sales Consultant, Honestly I didn't know I could speak to anyone other then the reception ladies. Thank you for the advice though.Hi Sam! Love all your ideas. The STD are so cute and fit great with the Alice theme! Painting teapots in a checkered pattern might be a bit of an undertaking ... you may be able to find cute teapots in vibrant colors at Michaels or Joanns, or find mismatched tea sets at thrift or vintage stores. I love that look!
As for the converse, if you're torn, how about wearing heels for the ceremony, and then switching to converse at the reception after the first dance? I am clumsy in heels too, so I will probably be wearing something like ballet flats for the ceremony, then switching to sandals or sneakers for the reception.
I looked back through my paperwork and it looks like it is a $2000 deposit to book a ceremony, regardless of what package you are doing. Have you been connected with a Sales Consultant yet? If not, I highly recommend calling and asking for Traci Banister. She has been great at answering all my questions (I'm hesitant to give out her direct line without asking her first).
Those save the dates look great!!!
I love the painted roses! That fits perfectly!!
Yes to the teapots! I love them!! You can probably find some for decent prices
Love the converses! I'm wearing them too!!
(Yeah Just like that..) and One apparently your old normal white tea pots? Hard to Find. BUT, Alas I spotted one it was red, but oh well. and What did the price tag say?!
40 dollars... Now I know 40 dollars isn't a lot but, It just seems a bit pricey for a flippin tea pot. That I need at least five, 200 dollars in tea pots?!
But to continue my saga. I just looked at the price, shook my head turned to DF and said Who the Heck uses tea pots anymore and why are they so pricey!? The end. So maybe When I go on my next journey I will search high and low In the Kingdom of Thrift Store.I think that is a great idea Mindy, your idea totally appeals to the indecisive Libra in me. That is Beautiful! Thank you so much!
Aw thank you. I think those are my favorites too and one of the ball gowns but I don't know what number it is...just reading up on your journal sorry for the family drama.. i loved the 7th and 10th dress the best but they all looked very nice![]()
Absolutely! The first step is to call and speak with a receptionist. They will email you some pdfs of information. Then call back and say you looked over the info and would like to speak with a Sales Consultant. They will either connect you with someone or someone will call you back. For me, Traci called me back within 20 minutes or so but everyone's experience is different. There are three consultants now, I think, Traci, Cynthia, and Sue. I must have sent Traci a million emails with questions before I even signed a contract. I was able to do an in-person site visit since I live so close, but for someone like you I'm sure they could send you a bunch of pictures about all the Escape collection locations.

No way you are not crazy!
I know exactly how you are feeling. I'm the only one doing the wedding planning. My mind changes constantly and money is always getting in the way. Something always comes up. Here I am a little over 2 months until the wedding and I still have so much to pay for. Not sure how it's all going to work but I'm just trying to think positively.
And don't be intimidated by WDW. It's so much fun, and there's so much to do. If you need any help with anything, I've been to WDW almost every year of my life and I can try to help you with whatever you need. Just let me know if you need anything at all!![]()
Thank you so much for your support! I feel like you just have to put the money down save the best you can and wing it. My problem is, my family is acting like they don't want to come even though I talked about moving it closer, and I doubt too many people from Arizona will coming, So it's like is it worth all the money?
I completely understand. That's why we went with a Swan wedding. I never could get a definite on who was coming and who wasn't, so we went the cheaper option and said whoever wants to come can. We were originally going to do the memories package, but you could only have a few people and I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. And the escape and wishes were completely out of the budget!
How many people have given you a definite?
Just joining in! Please don't stress! I had so many family issues to begin with regarding a Disneyland wedding. I know its hard, but eventually they will accept it, and they will have a fantastic time at your wedding.
I think that its a good idea to push your date back, simply to give you more time to actually enjoy planning your wedding. For this reason, my date is also in 2013! It feels like a long time away, but it will be here before you know it.
As for WDW or Disneyland, my advice is to get married at wherever would make you and your fiance happier. THEN make a list and see which people will go to which location. Besides having an illness or extreme financial problems, people who truly want to watch you get married will be there. I went through a HUGE debate with both of our families about whether or not to get married at home (Northern Cali) or at Disneyland. In the end, you have to do what YOU want because you are the one who will have to live with all of the memories, and hopefully no regrets.
Keep us posted!
