I'm booking a pedi for my 13 year old in the Chill Spa, but also wanted to book a pedi for my 10 year old. Can't I do this thru the salon instead of the spa since the Chill Spa is for 13-17. Does anyone know and if so, how? Day of embarktion?

Thanks!

I was told by my TA that the salon is only for ages 18 and up "for safety reasons". I think if they are under 13 then they are out of luck. I was also hoping to have all of my girls get manicures and pedicures. Hopefully, someone has a more hands on answer.

I was at the salon on the Magic during a very slow period and saw a young girl (10?) come out of the salon with a mani and pedi. Her nailpolish matched her princess dress. Too cute!
You may be able to arrange something in the salon for your underaged daughter, if they are not too busy. You will have to wait until you are onboard to try.

When we were on the Wonder last April they offered to set up an appt for my 7 year old daughter. It was on the menu. I think it was A princess pedi. We did not book it but it was offered to us.

While I was getting my Fire & Ice Pedicure on the Dream, there was a very young girl - maybe 7 or 8? - that was sitting right next to me and having her own mani/pedi while her mom was at another station having hers. The manicurist was wonderful with that little girl - even going so far as to feed her ice cream so she wouldn't muss her polish!

Originally, anything in the spa area was adults only. In the last year or so there has been a difference made between "Spa" services (which are adults only) and "Salon" services which are available to children. I believe that they have to be booked after boarding.

Salon services are open to everyone - spa is adults only. I have spa/salon brochures from several years back and all of them say salon is for all ages.

Thanks! So I just need to go to the salon once we board and see if I can book her a pedi?

I'm planning on taking dd to a local place w/ me before we leave for our trip for a mom & me day to get mani/pedis.

I figure that way it will waaay cheaper and I won't have to worry about trying to schedule it on the ship.

We're going to do the same but they really want the ice cream pedi/mani! :confused3

I'm looking at my Chill spa menu I saved from our recent cruise on the Dream. The cost of this popular service is expensive - $65 (not including tip). The fizzy bath product is nice but the regular manicure leaves you feeling pampered too. Ranges from $29 to $39.
