hey
has anyone ever been in salon mickey, this will be my first time in dlp with my shareholders card so i was wondering if its worth a visit. I did see it will only let 4 guests in at one time, bit of a shame when there will be 8 of us in all. It also say you get coffee and ligjht snacks are they free of charge or do you pay???

I havent gone with a bunch of people since they enforced the number limit but maybe they are flexible on that. Everything is free. They have soft drinks also. Its like a small victorian living room and there are toilets. Its fun once i think. If it were open all day would be a nice place to rest but really when you get to the park you just want to get started, not sit around. At least thats my opinion.

Dee's husband Dave took Denise and I, along with their son Josh in at Christmas - it was pretty cool in there - the free drinks and chocolate muffins were much appreciated :)

We went there on our first day just because we could. We went back on our last day as breakfast at the hotel was mobbed and we had a 'sweet' breakfast there instead :) . Our DD(3) loved it and it was very quiet both times we visited. It was smaller than I expected but walking out your own entrance to the park more than made up for that :cloud9:

Remember to 'acquire' some small milk cartons prior to your visit if you take it in your tea as this is not provided.

Food was free and was a selection of muffins, cookies and pastries

ENJOY :grouphug:

We definitely enjoyed our visit. My trip report of summer 2005 has photographs of our visit :)

We visited once last summer and twice at Christmas. I agree it is a very nice place and we do enjoy going but only if it is not too crowded. Our first visit at Christmas we had to stand and it was not so pleasant, so we went back the next day and were the only ones there, it made us feel very important! :snooty: :teeth:

As there is 8 in your party perhaps you could take in half one day and half another?

People may think I'm being dim but what and where is Salon Mickey and what, who do you have to be to get in there?

It's the shareholders club lounge at the park entrance. You have to own at least 500 shares and join the club 20E for two years or free if you have over 2000 shares to be able to enter. It's worth joining as you also get 15% discount in the parks. :goodvibes

Shares are about 8-10p each on the Paris stock exchange. I bought mine from Squaregain.co.uk.

Thanks Disneyangel, maybe we'll sort it out earlier for our next trip! I'm sure I've got a better use for £50+ this close to the holiday!!
